We like to think of the Abbotsford as 'probably the friendliest hotel in the world'. Maybe that sounds like an over statement but it's how our guests have described us. This little gem of a hotel is located just on the A82, If your looking for friendly staff and good home cooked food then this is the place. With a large function room upstairs you can party all night till your heart's content

The staff were fantastic from providing advice on places to visit to making gluton free food. The breakfast was lovely. The bed was really comfortable and had a good night's sleep, but some of the decor and furniture could do with updating

7.50 for a jug (1litre) of cordial and water. Asked several times to clarify the price and the manager said that was the going rate. Also 1.60 for a pint of cordial and water - go figure. Terrible customer service for an otherwise pleasant stay. Sort it out Abbotsford!

Visited the restaurant with a group of friends and the service we received was great. Food was delicious and the portions sizes were pretty substantial. Definitely recommend.

Staff excellent room was good chairs were well worn out, furniture the same, bathroom was modern and nice walk in shower, bed was comfy. I've had literally hundreds of cooked breakfasts and this was definitely in the top 5 in my opinion. A hotel needs to serve a good cooked breakfast.i would recommend this place and I'll return.

Whenever we vist the area we go for a meal here. The food has always been very good with good service. The quality of the food gives really good value for money. I can't comment on the hotel side of it as never stayed as we're always using our caravan when we visit this locale.

Went in for lunch great fresh food. It is a little pricey but you are paying for quality. Staff are lovely and helpful. Dogs allowed they give him water and biscuits. Will return when I get a chance.

Was in for dinner. Beautifully and tastfully decorated. We received a warm welcome from frienfly, helpful staff. Great menu choices and food was delicious, tasty and well presented. I would gladly recommend the Abbotsford to family and friends. Will definitely be back

Overall great food, service and atmosphere. Menu was good and the food was presented to a high standard. I was with someone with a wheelchair and the building was wheelchair friendly and the staff extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend.

Huge car park. We hadn't booked for dinner on a busy Friday night, but they found room for us. Lovely dinner - I had rocket and feta salad and then the red mullet. Comfortable room - great power shower. I enjoyed the french toast for breakfast. The lady at reception printed the tickets I needed for the ferry - thank you!
