I'd be honest, as this was only cheap for Brighton I stayed here. Basic facilities and the room wasn't serviced when first checked in. Hot water for shower wasn't sufficiently warm and wasn't at a good pressure. Had to check constantly if there wasn't any bed bugs as I wasn't convinced if the room was cleaned well.

Nice and cosy and the lady at the reception provided a stellar service. Really good night's sleep. Everything worked as expected for the prices you pay. Skipped the continental breakfast, it worth the price.

The sink was leaking the whole night and the bathroom floor is covered in water because of it. There was stains all over the carpet. There was a loose lightbulb and the lights were flickering. The curtain was broken. I honestly did not feel safe staying in this room.

Not sure where to start. Three stars this is not. Rooms are thread bare. Shower was cold unless you waited 10 minutes for luke warm water. Was charged double what was quoted and the staff and management are extremely rude and unhelpful. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. would have had a better sleep in a box on the beach.

Wasn't great, was clean and tidy but very dated, bar was shut at 9 and staff not overly friendly. Won't be back. thought it was expensive for what it was. Should have been 35 cheaper in my opinion

Not really the nicest reception, when asked about the 40 room as I was alone and only wanted one night, it wasn't available ti me was offered a room for 80, went to the King's Hotel on the sea front much nicer better service and slightly cheaper

A bit pricey and somewhat 1970's. Seeing the sign saying rooms from 40 a night, I was expecting the presidential suite for the price paid. Glad I took a long extension mains lead as the only socket was on the far side of the room by the tiny tv

Not the best, but not the worst. Shower was terrible, the pressure was so low it took me triple the amount of time to shower than normal. The hygiene a tad concerning as I've seen they haven't changed the shampoo to fresh ones for new customers. To me I felt it's important to bin any used products. The prices is a bit too much for what it's worth, as all night all you can hear is cars

Short notice booking so had to pay an unbelievable 180. better sleep in a hostel honestly. The sound of cars all night long, stains on carpets, everything thread bare. Okay so the sheets were clean but try sitting on the other furniture. broken. Unreal. Now trying to call them because we left a pair of shoes. been trying them for 2 days and they never answer once. Avoid.

It's cosy, everything worked fine, friendly and helpful staff! Has a charm of an English hotel from the past. We had a comfortable stay and would return. Stairs might be a challenge if you have limited mobility. I didn't see any lift. Value for money.
