Bankfield hotel stands in its own 5 acres of grounds in beautiful countryside. The hotel is fully licensed and has a fine reputation for good wholesome cooking using as far as possible local meat fish and game, both for Bar and Restaurant meals. We are open all day for breakfast, morning coffees, lunch and afternoon teas, high teas and dinner. The traditional sunday lunch is a Bankfield speciality with many of our customers coming every week.

Although my grandmother wasn't even there for 3 weeks, we can't believe how well she was looked after! It was very difficult for us as a family to make that decision, but as soon as we walked through the door we felt a sense of relief when we met staff members who were absolutely lovely and grandma seemed happy! They looked after my grandma with so much care and compassion for the very last 2.5 weeks of her life with Alzheimer's, and we can't thank the team enough for taking such good care for her at the end of her life.
They made a fuss of her on her birthday, and even have a Facebook page for families to see some of the many activities that the residents take part in. Honestly the staff are absolute heroes and we couldn't recommend or thank bankfield enough!
