The bridge hotel is the latest addition to a successive series of many establishments. The history goes back to the 12th century, where it was home to a storehouse for stone & timber. In the 16th century it was used as a granary for corn storage against times of public shortages, and later the official residence of the two governors responsible for the maintenance of the bridge, namely Bridge House.

Stayed for 3 nights on a business trip. Comfortable beds, clean facility, and lots of fruit to enjoy in both the room and lobby. The rooms are on the smaller side - but then again, the building is very old, and almost every room/building in London feels small to someone of my stature, so didn't feel remotely out of the ordinary. They were quite cozy considering!

Very friendly staff as well - always had green tea ready in the lobby when I was rummaging about. I'm an excessive tea drinker, so I never could refuse. They also offer a discount to returning customers, so I definitely plan to stay again next time in this area of London

Very good deal. Small room but perfect. It has double bed, small table and chair for light laptop/writing work, small wardrobe with hanger, good size bathroom, fan and even small TV. Hair drier and small fridge too. For a small room, very impressive. There is elevator.

Very good location. Cozy and fine hotel. Room was cute and most of things are served. Public bathroom was nicely cleaned. However, it would be better if they can manage the dust from the room and smell from the corridors.

It was an okay hotel: the rooms gave off a quite old vibe, but with so many rooms, they did well to maintain it to some quality. The service was alright and the location was decent, right next to Tower Bridge. Tower Bridge Station wasn't too much of a walk, and so you could go everywhere across the green line. I think service could be a bit better and maybe do *anything* with the rooms, but it was a pretty decent stay for one night.

Unfortunately the room was very dirty and dusty, as well as extremely small. Staff at the reception was also quite grumpy. I had to ask at the reception for our fan above our bed to be cleaned, since there was a pile of dust on it. The receptionist reluctantly said he would "make an exception" and come clean it. The "do not disturb" sign was never respected. On one occasion they took our towels and didn't give us new ones. When we asked for new ones we were asked to "make sure they weren't there". They were not.

Nice hotel, if you on budget and visiting London it has a good location. Walking distance to London Bridge & Waterloo and some other well known places. We felt welcomed and looked after by the team. Our room had a view of Shard which was a nice plus. It's a little bit outdated.

Nice n clean little hotel. The owner and his son were very helpful and accommodating. Bed was so comfy. Honestly the best sleeps I've had in a long time. I stayed on Tuesday and Wednesday. The hotel was reasonably quiet.

Affordable, safe and convenient to the centre of London. (Very)Small room- but good ensuite, clean with comfortable bed, digital safe and tea making facilities! Plus own fridge! Can't fault for convenience relative to price!

We booked this hotel for one night stay in London. Unfortunately the Covid protocol in UK changed after our booking, imposing a PCR test upon arrival with self isolation until the result which is usually 24hrs after the test. Guess what? By the time the result arrives, it's time for us to go back to Paris. So we cancelled our booking. Even though it was a non refundable booking and since the UK protocol changed, we phoned the hotel for a possible refund, even part of the refund.

They did not cooperate at all, no possible negociation. So, I highly recommend travellers to book ONLY refundable hotels in this pandemic period and definitely not try your luck on this hotel.

Five stars based on value for money. Yes the rooms are small. Yes the bathrooms are small. Yes there are electric heaters in the rooms as the central heating doesn't work. The mini fridge sounds like a massive electricity generator it's so loud. But the place is clean, comfortable, TV works, bed is good, everything in bathrooms work. It's friendly service in an independently owned and run hotel.

It's so cheap for central London. If you want big rooms and better facilities then pay more money. I'd definitely stay again. Just turn off the mini fridge before you go to sleep

I WAS SCAMMED! i booked the hotel in agoda.called the hotel on the day that i will be checking in late in the evening and they told me it's okay because front desk is open 24/7. we were so tired that night and we arrived at the hotel and showed him my confirmation from agoda which is already payed by the way. but told me there is no confirmation. he called agoda which lasted an hour, imagined how tiring it must be, we are tired we want our beds but they wouldnt allow us to checked in even we already payed in agoda. the front desk told me that i tell agoda to give my money back and he will check me in but i need to pay extra because i will not be getting the rate agoda gave me because its the weekend. i refused to take his deal and asked agoda for my refund because i cannot wait for more hours waiting because we are already tired. almost 2 weeks have passed agoda still refusing to give my refund back because the hotel doesnt want to give my refund. and it says on my app on agoda that i completed my stay even i was not there because they refused to check me in. HOW CAN I PAY FOR A HOTEL THAT DIDNT ALLOW ME TO CHECK IN EVEN AFTER SHOWING THEM THE CONFIRMATION THAT I ALREADY PAYED. THIS IS SCAM. THIS MIGHT BE MODUS SO BE CAREFUL. AGODA AND THE BRIDGE HOTEL LONDON, GIVE MY MONEY BACK!

Small room, but clean and comfortable. Very friendly, helpful staff. They provided fresh, delicious apples and served green tea in reception. Our bathroom did smell of something awful. The hotel was a little further from tube stations and all the sights than we had anticipated

The hotel was clean and staff very friendly and helpfull the room we had was spotless clean towels and water tea and coffee every day the downside was the size of the room it was very tiny nowhere to sit down nothing to put your clothes in no drawers or wardrobe had to live out of our suitcase and the bathroom was so small when you got in shower you couldnt move about try to wash in the half size sink bang your head on glass shelf above dont know where the pics of the rooms came from but we didnt see them. Would not stay here again.

Good location, very close to the metro station. The staff was very nice, and I also got a double room instead of a single, even if I was on my own. The area is very quiet at anytime. Place was clean enough. Only downside, the "neighbors" were super noisy when they came back in the night, but nothing I can really blame the hotel for.

This surprising hotel is a great place to stay. We wanted somewhere reasonably central and reasonably priced for a short visit to London, this exceeded our expectations. Although rooms are small, they are clean, beds comfortable, shower is super. The usual tea, coffee, milk in the room, decent hairdryer, free bottled water. Electric fans in the rooms.

The disabled room was enough for a small mobility scooter to fit in overnight, a walk-in shower but not big enough for a wheelchair user. Staff are great, welcoming and helpful. It's very popular because it's good service for a good price.

The hotel itself was alright, nothing much to expect for that price, but room has paper walls, as it was impossible to sleep, because i could hear everything from the room next to me. I stayed there yesterday, someone in the room next to me played music really loud, till around 2-3 am in the morning. I reported it to the reception, but nothing have changed. But that might be the people, who just didn't care about others. Overall, if you looking for quiet place to stay, it wouldn't be the best choice
