Room 1 (one of our new Garden Suites that is now open) is a very large garden suite room with a wetroom with shower, a separate lounge and patio to the outside terrace. This room is on the ground floor and has its own entrance. All rooms are furnished to the highest standard and with attention to detail.
Your wellbeing our priority. During the coming few months there are some changes to our food offerings at COLDCOTES. There is also information about breakfast and snacks. We have an extensive breakfast menu that features porridge, fruits, yoghurt, farm fresh eggs and locally produced bacon and sausage.

Along with these beautiful gardens comes the opportunity to see the array of wildlife that this area is home to.
Cold Cotes Accommodation and Events consists of 2 buildings for our guests, the house and a barn renovation. The house contains guest rooms 1, 2, and 3, the dining room, sitting room, and reception area. The barn contains rooms 4, 5 and 6, and the events facility. Absolutely fabulous. Easily the best B&B I've ever been in (and I've been in hundreds over decades). Everything here is way above standard. Boutique rooms, lovely rural location, lovely breakfast, guest sitting area, honesty bar, and owners who are outstandingly friendly and helpful. The only mistake you might make is thinking you can be here without a car. Its 6 miles out of Harrogate and buses do not pass here. Other than that, you can't go wrong. This place is exceptional.

We had another lovely stay. The rooms were beautifully clean and super toiletries. Sue pays great attention to detail, leaving a chocolate on the pillow and homemade scones on a tray. Mark cooked a wonderful breakfast and Sue's breakfast trifle is delicious. They make you feel as if they really want your stay to be memorable and enjoyable. We will certainly stay again.

Another fantastic stay at Cold Coates. Very welcoming on arrival from both Sue and Mark. Room ready on arrival with added little touches that set it aside from anywhere else I have stayed. Breakfast is filling and gorgeous as always with homemade jam and marmalade. The hosts are very accommodating and nothing is too much trouble and they pay attention to everything you like. Keep up the great work and see you again next year.

This was our first visit to Cold Cotes but it definitely won't be our last. Sue and Mark are fabulous hosts very welcoming and Sue is a fountain of local knowledge. she recommended a lovely walk into Harrogate town centre with amazing views and beautiful gardens. Terrific. Our suite was amazing. Extremely comfortable, finished to a very high standard and Simply luxurious. The breakfast Is equally impressive. We're already planning when we come back.

Stayed here last year in May. Was originally booked for March but the beast from the east put a stop to that. Sue was very obliging in rebooking us in for May. Wow. This place is amazing - a hidden gem not too far from Harrogate. Rooms were superb. The breakfasts were very good and the facilities high spec. The grounds are lovely. You can see straight away how hard Sue and partner work both in and outside and how proud they are. Recommend.

Sue and Mark are so welcoming and friendly. The place is beautiful - everything you would expect from a top class establishment with all the little extra added touches which make it so much more special. You can tell that they put their hearts into the place and it is not just a business for them. Nothing is too much trouble and the suites are very individual and special. Would highly recommend for a peaceful retreat for couples. John and Tina
