Our 14 comfortable en-suite (with shower) bedrooms are primarily located on the first and second floors however a ground floor double is also available. We offer doubles, kings, twins, singles and economy single rooms and we have one four poster bed. As with all our rooms, there are tea and coffee making facilities and a generous hospitality tray offering a range of teas, coffee and hot chocolate, and edible goodies. There is a flat screen TV and good access to free WiFi internet. A luggage rack is provided.
Mark and Jan are avid fans of fine quality, freshly cooked breakfasts of the highest quality. All food is sourced locally wherever possible and great care is taken to find the most appropriate award winning suppliers. Our aim is to serve a delicious bespoke breakfast that will set you up for the day ahead whether exploring the beautiful town of Harrogate, the local countryside or a busy day's work. The breakfast room is spacious and tranquil, decorated in simple soothing colours with Vettriano prints and each table has a view over the garden.
Arden House is delighted to host large parties of friends as well as extended families. We realise that everyone's schedules these days are incredibly hectic, hence we understand the value of family/friend gatherings, and we aim to make these times special. We are also happy to allow businesses to take over the whole house to have team building and business development meetings.

Mark and Sue are fantastic hosts very friendly and helpful and could not do enough to make our stay so enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent especially the homemade preserves and muesli, so much choice we worked our way through the extensive menu over the week. Great location short walk to everything Harrogate has to offer. Some lovely restaurants. We had an amazing week with our friends and would highly recommend a stay.

We spent a wonderful 2 days at Arden House. Mark and Jan really go the extra mile to make their guests feel welcome, comfortable & relaxed. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of cooked and continental options (delicious eggs benedict!). Rooms were clean and well appointed. Thanks so much, and see you next time!

Stayed for a work trip. I cannot rate Arden House anymore highly. Both Mark and Jan made the stay feel very welcoming from the moment I entered until the moment I left. Breakfast was amazing with a choice of cereals and fruits to a full English. I will be rebooking my stay here again. Next year. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable.

Just come back from the Arden, had a lovely weekend. Nice welcome & so friendly rooms are all individually decorated & well equipped. Breakfast was the best I've had within a guest house, the fresh fruits were so good. I also had a cooked breakfast that was faultless.used the honesty bar which was nice too. Well priced too. My hubby & mom loved thier birthday treat away. Special thanks to thier daughter who served our breakfast very efficiently & brought extra coffee thankyou so much guys we will be coming back xx

A superb guest house. Hosts are quite charming - very welcoming and friendly. They just can't do enough to make their guests stay the best. The rooms are immaculately clean and are equipped with all that you need. The breakfast is amazing and the best I have sampled anywhere - all quite delicious with a vast variety to suit all tastes. Arden House is much more than just an ordinary guest house. It is very homely and comfortable with a really happy atmosphere. Would love to return.

Lovely little guest house in a quiet street just on the outskirts of the town centre. Small but well equipped rooms with comfortable beds. The breakfast is the best part about your stay at Arden House. A huge selection of fresh fruits, berries, preserves, yogurt, syrups as well as an excellent choice from the cooked menu. And the cooked option is one of the best I've had anywhere. I'll certainly be returning and would 100% recommend
