Hotel Piccadilly

Wasn't overly impressed to be honest. I've stayed in alot of hotels and this just didn't have a great impact on me. For 133 I was unsatisfied. That price didn't even include breakfast. The room was tired. The View was of 2 huge air conditioning fans on a brick wall. The fridge was noisy and old. The cups weren't even proper cups but small PAPER cups! You could hear every bit of noise and someone above was banging doing god knows what at 1am in the morning. I left feeling pretty deflated. And robbed!

Jack on reception gave us a 5 star service, even if water cost more than a can. Top notch bloke, really super nice and awesome

Booked a small double room pretty much last minute so did not expect much. Arrived just before midnight and night porter was able to check us in. He was friendly, helpful and efficient. Also had to pay 10pound for parking but you have it for 24hours so useful if you want to leave the car during the day whilst you visit the beach and town. The room is small but newly refurbished and more modern!

It's clean. Shower has good pressure and we slept well. Check out was efficient with the 3 friendly reception staff. Able to answer questions and knowledgeable about Bournemouth activities and eateries. 15minute walk to the pier and beach. Definitely value for money and would recommend. Will come back if I'm in the area again.

Can't really review this as only popped into reception for directions, but there was nobody around and the place looked tired and unwelcoming. Wouldn't recommend it from what I saw. Went into ballroom downstairs which looked lovely and I understand is well used. I may go back there.

A great location with a clean hotel near to sea beach.,T he hotel manager Camillia really nice and well behaved lady. Good place to stay if you want to visit Bournemouth.

I stayed at the hotel for a couple of weeks before work took me elsewhere. You really could not find more friendly and helpful staff from the reception, to the restaurant, to maintenance. Everyone makes an effort to say hello and check if you are ok. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. Yes, the elevator is tiny but it does what it's supposed to and moves you from one floor to the next, albeit possibly one at a time.

I normally avoid independent hotels for the likes of a Premier Inn because I like to know what I am getting but, in the age of chain anonymity, the Piccadilly stands out as a super friendly, welcoming personal place to lay your head. I highly recommend.

At first did not like this hotel, it definitely needs a spruce up in places such as carpet cleaning and shower heads could do with replacing. However by the end of the week I could see it's good points also, free WiFi that actually was not terrible usually, comfortable bed, free parking and a convenient central location and the staff are friendly and helpful when around.

However usually when we got back in at night between 9 and 10pm there was nobody on reception if we needed milk or toilet roll. However the gentlemen from the restaurant was usually helpful for some fresh milk in a jug so not all bad.

The blonde lady on the front desk was extremely polite and lovely, she welcomed us & helped throughout our 4 night stay. The other staff where also very polite and helpful. The room was nice and the hotel had a nice vibe to it. Location wise it is brilliant, 5 minute walk to the pier and beach (if that), the hotel also has a bar with very friendly staff. I Would recommend.

Great hotel, amazing staff and extremely clean throughout. Room was lovely and comfortable beds. The air conditioning was a massive hit too. 100% recommend and will be returning without a doubt. Bar and restaurant in the hotel as well. The staff are so helpful and so polite. We asked for extra coffee cups and spoons, returned from being out for the day and they was put on the table in our for us. Close to the beach, restaurants and town (walking distance)
