Winter Dene Hotel

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Room was spotlessly clean. Enough parking for guests. Breakfast was excellent Couldn't fault it. Definitely stay again.

Fabulous place within short walking distance to shops, restaurants (10-15 mins), parks and beach (15-20mins). Owners were great fun and breakfast choices fabulous. Room with ensuite was beautiful, in excellent order and huge. Car parking was also free. Plse be aware there are stairs but they have rooms on ground floor. Be aware Bournemouth in general has a lot of steep hills but if you plan it well, you can miss most of them and not lose a lot of walking time. We went through town and park with virtually no climbing involved and still mad the restaurant's and beach in 15-20 mins (hubby with bad knee and hip)

So pleased we found this place. Good location, clean, well decorated and very comfortable. Friendly owners and free parking. Nothing negative to say about the place. Great find.

We really enjoyed our stay at the winter dene. Comfortable bed, good shower, quiet and great location - about 3 mins from the beach and maybe 5-8 mins to town centre. Reasonably priced too, would stay here again.

I had such a lovely birthday staying at the Winter Dean Hotel! Not only did I walk into a beautiful building and meet our lovely host Heather but I was also surprised with a birthday card and chocolates all gift wrapped as soon as I walked into our room. This was excellent customer service with a human approach which I appreciated so much. We were also given a guide by Heather with all of the local amenities - she provided us with a few options of where to eat that are popular and the quickest route to go to the beach (which is only a 5 minute walk).

I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I can't wait to go back here again. Once again, thank you Heather for your amazing customer service and making my birthday more special! One of the best hotels I have experienced by far!

I love this place. Been here past three years so glad we found this gem. Perfectly clean and a breakfast that sets you up for the rest of the day. Perfect hosts. Variety of bedrooms, single, doubles, bath or shower. No lifts but we are near the beach. Has its own car park. Will return again very soon.

The hotel was clean and well equipped. The hosts are very friendly and accomodating, they were around at all times and ready to help or chat;) (they were able to get us an extra blanket when we needed one :) ). There was a good number of breakfast options available, so if you get bored easily you have nothing to worry about. Our room had a huge comfortable bed and plenty of storage space (perfect for longer stays).

Bathroom was modest but clean and equipped. There was both a fan and a portable heater in the room. It was also very quiet which made the stay peaceful and relaxing and is much appreciated. Plus the building is beautiful and surrounded by well maintained flowers adding color and life to the view.

We have just returned from our stay at the Winter Dene Bournemouth. Location brilliant for a walk to the beach and pier. We can't fault this lovely hotel. The traditional British bed and breakfast feel with antique touches throughout the hotel make it so special. The owners are lovely, friendly and helpful. Washing our sandy beach towels and returning to an immaculate tidy clean room daily.

Fresh clean white towels daily. The bedding and covers changed and beds made with cute touches with our daughters bedtime toys. Our beds were sooo comfy. The breakfast was superb the bacon delicious. Stuffed! We will return for sure. Thank you Enzo and Heather x

Overnight stay was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very hospitable and accommodating! Perfect spot to spend some long overdue quality time with my sister.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights over the scorching Easter weekend and had lovely time. The owners could not have been more welcoming. and helpful. Everything was catered for at breakfast (including Easter eggs on the Sunday) - which was a really nice touch for adults and children alike! Nice clean room, comfy (huge) bed, location really handy for beach and town and food delicious. I will definitely be going back. Thank you for a memorable weekend.

Lovely hotel, Renzo is charming and very witty, keeping the guests amused during breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, I had cereal, and full English. Tasty, cooked to perfection, and very hot. My wife had scrambled eggs and salmon, again beautifully cooked and tasty. Would highly recommend this hotel, close enough to easily walk to the beach or central Bournemouth. Gardens are beautiful, rooms very spacious and comfortable, a credit to the owners. Loved staying at this hotel.
