Denewood Hotel

Alan and Pam were lovely hosts. Felt very safe in the hotel and knew they were around if we needed them. Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We brought our dog who was very well treated and they even gave us info on dog beaches and local restaurants. Shower was amazing, despite being at the top of the building.

Stayed here many times, Alan the owner is very good, pam on reception is very attentive, rooms location all good.

At the denewood hotel at the moment, the room and bathroom are very clean the host Alan is very nice, the location is fabulous 5 mins from the beach cafes restaurants 5 mins away, the room could do with a touch up here and there, but every thing u need is here, added bonus a nice size fridge, for the money u pay could not get better value, would Def return.

Very large room (Room 1) with comfy bed, table and chairs and fridge for convenience. Also large bathroom. Plenty of parking, Helpful friendly owner. Would stay again and recommend

Too many stairs, no lift. So travel light you may have to climb to the top. No breakfast. Soiled bedspread. No change of bed linen. T.V in room so small, why bother! Best thing, location to beach

Large bedroom/bed. Perfect location, friendly staff, great value. Some minor decor points but it would stop us staying again. Oh and amazing cotton sheets

Great location, walking distance to the beach and town. Decent size rooms. A bit rough around the edges and there are lots of bits that could do with a touch up, or some decoration, but for the price, its not so bad.

Disappointed, frustrated and appalling behaviour by the owner that gave my Nephew 20 minutes to pack up and vacate his room. A room my twin sister had booked up from the 30th to the 3rd August. Unbeknownst to my sister, the owner had only booked them for two days (30th to 1st) rather than the four days she'd asked. Why? Also why didn't he ask my sister to vacate their room on the 1st or even the following morning. Seems to me he's too much of a moral coward that would rather confront and bully a 16 year kid. Inexcusable way to treat my family that are returning patrons to the Denewood Hotel and compounded by the fact that my sister is struggling on a broken ankle, strapped up in a splint boot.

Instead of being able to relax on their last full day in Bournemouth, she was having to secure a hotel room for one night in the middle of a summer school holiday. Never again!

Nothing fancy but doesn't try to be. Does what it says on the tin, affordable accommodation and very friendly staff.

Perfect price. Very friendly staff and great clean hotel. Spacious rooms. Free parking on hotel grounds which is amazing and less than a 5 minute walk to the beach with other amenities close by! Highly recommend and will definitely stay again when coming to Bournemouth. A**

Handily located but really run down b&b in Bournmouth. Although the reception area looks quite nice, the rooms on the top floor were really tired looking. The bed was very lumpy and broken & I had to move around a lot to find a position which was vaguely comfortable. It's a good job there weren't two of us.
