Dalrachney Lodge dates from 1845 and was formerly a Hunting Lodge central to one of Scotland's largest Estates. Additions were made through the turn of the century linking the Victorian and Edwardian periods. The main house as seen above is in fact Edwardian and was completed in 1910. Some Victorian period Lodges which can be found in this area have quite small rooms and were functional rather than spacious.

My family had a lovely stay at this lodge. The hosts were so attentive. I loved that they paid attention to little details like making sure our butter was soft enough at breakfast, and getting each of us different teas based on our preferences. Also, shout out to Archie the dog, who was a sweetheart, most docile dog I've ever met. The grounds were breathtaking.
Recommend taking a walk around the lodge to enjoy the view, especially the little creek. Also the lounge inside the house was beautiful, it was like a Victorian drawing room.

We stayed here for 3 nights, as a base for exploring the highland areas. The room has a nice view and it's spacious and comfortable. The victorian bath tub is so sophisticated and amazing! Most importantly, the hosts Gordon and Trixie are very friendly and served great breakfast. Archie (hope we got the name right) is the cutest thing ever and always ready to welcome guests. Great stay!

Having enjoyed a recent break at Dalrachney Lodge I am proud to share my views with others to entice them to this beautifully traditional Hotel. The setting is so calming in itself. Beautiful walks lay beyond. Once you enter the Lodge itself you are immediately made to feel welcome and at home I noted from my last visit that all the bedrooms have been recently refurbished, each and every one in it's own special style.
I was quite spoilt for choice! Sipping 'a wee dram' by the open fire, before enjoying a most scrumptious 3 course meal was just what was needed! What a wonderful Menu! I was more than surprised -- and equally happy! I look forward to my next visit, and will most certainly recommend meantime.

We arrived at Dalrachney Lodge about 8:30 pm. Annabelle and Archie the Springer Spaniel were waiting up for us. What a joy to find a dog in-house (missing mine). Our room was fine; would probably upgrade on a next visit. Breakfast was wonderful, with Annabelle cooking everything to perfection. The highlight for me was taking Archie on a morning run about the beautiful grounds and down the river. If I could change anything, it would be to have more time there. Thanks, Annabelle, for a memorable 12 hours! Angie Adams
