Excellent place. We stayed in the new appartments. Everything is perfect, cosy, brand new and modern. Perfect kitchen. Couldn't be happier. Worth every penny.

We spent one night at the camp site with our motorhome. The site is spotless and the facilities were all perfect, esp. the motorhome service station at the entrance. Unfortunately, the site is located next to a quite busy street, so you will hear the cars passing by occasionally. Also, the single pitches are quite close to each other, meaning it can feel a bit crowded, esp. when the site is at full capacity.

Absolutely loved staying here. Stayed in the self catering chalet and getting up each morning and looking at the hills was amazing

Location in Aviemore was brilliant. Lovely clean modern apartment. A wee bit on the expensive side though. Plenty things to do and see.

Great convenient place to stay. Everything was clean. There was even a fridge in the room. A short walk to restaurants and bars. The price was great for the area. We stayed in the block and had the superior room. The bathroom door is strange works for both, separating the toilet or closing the whole bathroom.

Another fantastic stay. This time for 3 nights and I wish it was longer. The room was spotless as always and the bed is super comfy. Staff are really friendly especially the housekeeper on duty, I asked for extra milk and she was so sweet giving more than enough and when I seen her the next day she asked if I need more and made sure I was well stocked up.

The motel is great, clean, peaceful. If you want to go to the Ski Resort, Glencoe, or some of the lakes, the location is just perfect. I think they have a problem with their WiFi that should be fixed since some may need Internet during their stay. Still 5 stars for me.

For 13.95 a person, I expected a lot more from this "Italian" buffet. All the pasta options tasted watery. The salad bar had lettuce and only olives or beets as toppings. The rest was made of various pasta salad meant to fill you up on carbs and fiber, like orzo and farro. The pizza was the best part and that doesn't say much. The pizza tasted no better than frozen pizzas from the shop. The only enjoyable food I ate was the gluten free chocolate pie with toffee pieces in it. Not worth the money.

We came here on the recommendation of a local. Although I would have never tried this place without that recommendation, it was surprisingly good! Skip the buffet, of course, if you want good food. Pasta is not a good buffet choice. And when are buffets ever really good? But if you order off the menu, the pasta is excellent. My lasagna was fantastic. And my daughter (who at 8 is not very picky) really enjoyed the buffet. Definitely worth a try!

I had the buffet one night in here, and I was unimpressed. I wish I'd gone for just choosing from the menu now, as the buffet was uninspiring. First of all, there is no signs on the food - and the food is at best lukewarm. There is not much variety either. There were only 4 kinds of pizza (1 that looked vegetarian, but again, due to lack of signs, I couldn't be sure) and 6 kinds of pasta.

I initially thought the pasta looked impressive, but most of it was drowned in a tomato sauce, so it may not have been 6 kinds of pasta. The only two different kinds of pizza was macaroni and cheese (which looked congealed) and the pasta bolognese. The staff were friendly, and the prices reasonable (14.95 for all you can eat buffet, which includes dessert). However, I would be hesitant to go back for the buffet and would try the main menu the next time.

If you want Italian food in Aviemore, this is your best option if not your only option. They are always full, so book ahead. Buffet is plentiful and includes dessert. I had the Lasagna and it came hot and was a large portion.would recommend La Taverna for a good dinner option while in Aviemore. Nice bar area too!

This is a happening place for lunch. They were able to seat two of us right away without a reservation. The best part of the buffet (which is reasonably priced) was the selection of salads (greens, pasta, legumes, etc.). The buffet pizza was just okay (definitely better when hot). We might have ordered dessert if we could find a menu or waitress; as it was we paid and left.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch on our Scotland road trip. We did it on a whim, pulling off the road at lunch time and going for the first restaurant that caught our eye. We shared a fourteen inch pizza with pepperoni, pineapple and mushrooms. It was a decent pizza and we were left stuffed. I can't remember what we paid, but that we thought it was a good price.

The server was fast and friendly. The ambiance is warm and inviting. We were seated near a large window, which made us feel extra cozy as we could watch the rain pouring down outside. Overall, I was left with a very good impression of this restaurant and would definitely return if we found ourselves in the area.

Offers standard Italian fair from both a buffet and a menu. Salads are nice and pizzas thin and crispy. I know people love and rave about this place but I found it a little so-so. The main reason for this is the treadmill feel of the eating area; people in, people out, quick, quick. The food isn't bad. The service is prompt (maybe too prompt).
