We have just spent 4 nights at Kincraig Castle hotel and can honestly say our stay was fabulous. The staff were all lovely and couldn't do enough to help! The food was outstanding! Can't wait to visit again! Thanks to Carolyn, Steven, Charlotte, Chris, Freya, and the rest of the team for making our trip so memorable! Love David & Sharon Rowatt xx

We had such an amazing time on that hotel for a damily reunion. The restaurant was delicious and the staff very nice. A very special thanks to Joyce at the front desk. She helped us a lot finding a good fare taxi and gave us really good tips on things to do around. She even called a distillery to get some information for us. The room was great and comfortable. We'll defini come back!

Located a 45-minute drive from Inverness airport, Kincraig Castle Hotel looks as luxurious as it sounds, with deep tartan carpets, four-poster beds in some rooms and a traditional, wood-panelled decor throughout. The rooms are large and well-appointed, with views towards the Cromarty Firth from the front-facing ones. Everything is clean and well-maintained, with an eye for detail.
The lobby is the best part of the hotel, with comfortable sofas throughout and a large fireplace that is great to sit by while sampling the hotel's collection of whiskies. If you feel like a breath of fresh air, there are extensive grounds around the hotel for a stroll. However, the best thing by far is the attitude of the staff, led by the owners, Ray and Amy.
We were a party of four, and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. On our first evening, for example, our sudden pre-dinner hunger pangs were assuaged by Amy bringing out bowls of fried rice that she had cooked herself! Her husband Ray is a bit of an authority on things local, and advised us about places to visit, and even printed out maps of the routes we should take (including a spectacular drive across the Highlands to Ullapool - thanks again, Ray!).
The rest of the staff are equally helpful, catering for one of our party's vegetarian requirements with delicious off-the-menu dishes (did I mention the foood is great?), and attentive and accomodating in general. Thanks again for a very pleasant stay, and hope to return many more times!

Hotel set in beautiful grounds, well administrated and kept to a high standard. As a disabled traveller, our room was perfectly suited (much appreciated for a late booking) and extremely comfortable. Immaculately clean. Hotel has plenty of character and dinner was served in charming surroundings, food excellent. Breakfast in a light, clean and spacious room - again, excellent food.
Staff were smart, friendly and gave excellent service. Covid restrictions in place at the time were well observed and without fuss. As experienced travellers, we would definitely revisit & thoroughly recommend.
