Over all we had a nice and restful stay. I feel the staff are doing a good job, in general. Probably just under staffed! Unfortunately when I advised the receptionist that myself and my husband had both suffered from food poisoning after eating at the cascade Txchoco restaurant (sorry I forgot the spelling). Both of us being sick and not able to leave the bathroom, me two hours after eating.
So cold you cannot get warm. Then sweating. It's FOOD POISONING! Nothing! No one word! No sorry! No we will look into this! NO Are you ok. NO can we do anything! No of course you must not pay for the meal that could have done you this damage. To me that is disgusting! Customer service it's not funny at all. Just go away and be quiet in case anyone else hears you!
So it's bad for a 400euro a night hotel to not care that they have poisoned two of their guests. They were very efficient in closing the pools and terrace in the high winds. Shame they didn't execute the same care and concern. Tenerife is a beautiful place if you take a car and travel to the north or east there are some wonderful places to see.
