The hotel was clean and well-located, staff were friendly and attentive. We came here on a holiday from Canada to tour sights in Liverpool and found that it was the ideal option. Their buffet breakfast was always satisfying as a great start to our day. Not too much noise from the exterior despite us being in a fairly busy part of the city. Would recommend.

Stayed in the Holiday Inn for one night while heading to a match. We were very lucky as we got off the train at Lime Street and just walked straight out to the hotel. Check in wasn't until 3pm, but we were able to check in earlier. The room was so clean, plenty of space and a great view. Everyone who worked at the Holiday Inn was extremely kind, caring and happy to answer any questions we had.
We were greeted by the amazing Kelly, she was full of chat and plenty of recommendations for where to visit for food and drinks. We had a couple of drinks in the evening, the view where we sat was amazing. You could see right out on everything and it was really beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, plenty of food and staff were really accommodating with tea, coffee, pancakes or anything else you wished to order.
We left our bags there was we went to the match and once we arrived back, they got our bags ready for us in no time and wished us all the best. It was a really great experience. It was a little pricey for just the one night but that is the reality of travelling over during a match day/weekend. Next time I go to Liverpool, I will definitely be staying in the Holiday Inn. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel :
