The Brecon Beacons are truly stunning. The building and rooms are elegant. Classy without being showy. The staff are subtle and reserved, friendly and down to earth. We booked just four months before the big day but Cath, Suzanne and the rest of the team kept the planning stage calm and simple. All that considered, Peterstone.

Beautiful area shame the food was not on same par. Drove 1 half hrs for over priced sub standard food. My partner ordered heirloom tomatoes and presented with one tomato cut into quarters with mozzarella. No dressing no fresh basil. Huge let down. I ordered tempura prawns. Proper tempura is literally see through as It is a very light batter. I was presented with something that looked and tasted like chicken balls from a grubby chinese. Roast potatoes were very under cooked and cauliflower cheese was so over cooked it resembled baby food. Staff were very nice and friendly. Huge food let down. Let's hope it was an off day

All pretty good. Just a few pointers tho. Having wedding photos outside while being used as car park is quite a bit off putting, especially when it's not the guest party. Some staff very rude too, patience is the vertu, take a step back. If a long day is scheduled then take on board the customers needs, if you can't handle the pressure then take the day off!

My friend & I wanted a relaxing break in beautiful surroundings with 1st class service and classy, comfortable interiors. That's exactly what we got at the Peterstone Court Hotel. A beautiful building in a lovely location with spectacular views. Staff were all warm & welcoming, friendly & attentive. We stayed for a Sunday lunch sleepover package and were not disappointed.
Dinner was delicious, well cooked and ample. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The suppertime cheese board in the library was just perfect, with a lovely surprise when the wine was served. Thank you so much! A relaxed breakfast completed our stay. We both agreed it was just perfect, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We were lucky enough to get married here in 2010. The property is stunning inside and out. The grounds are immaculate, with beautiful gardens. The views over the Pen y fan range are breathtaking. The on site facilities are absolutely top notch, including the restaurant and food. The perfect place in the perfect location.

We were hoping to check in today to stay for 2 nights. Unfortunately we needed to cancel due to a positive Covid result. We cancelled earlier this week - a day later than the T&Cs. The person my wife spoke to was incredibly understanding. Cancelled our reservation with no fuss and no charges. Is not lost on us that this is a relatively small hotel, so a late cancellation has an impact. The way they dealt with it means we're even more keen to re-book, show our support, and enjoy a stay later than planned. Thank you.

What a fabulous weekend! My friend and I were gifted a spa weekend and we had a blast. Such a beautiful venue in a stunning location. The hotel is beautifully decorated- the coal fire lounge and cozy bar both beautiful, relaxing places to chill out. The bedroom was large, with fabulous period windows overlooking the sheep in the fields. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive and the food was delicious.
We ate at the restaurant on Saturday night and found the food to be very high quality and good value. Our spa treatment was relaxing and well delivered so all in all, a fabulous weekend! We will be back! And a huge "thank you" to Abby on reception who telephoned us to let us know that we had left our laptop and coat behind! Thanks you and see you soon! X

We went to Peterstone Court for the weekend for the wedding of my son and his fiancee. The venue was beautiful in a very picturesque setting. The rooms were lovely and the food excellent. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful time. I would recommend Peterstone Court very highly for a special celebration or a few days away. I look forward to returning to enjoy the spa and walk in the grounds.

Christmas with Father Christmas in attendance is becoming a family tradition when in Wales. The food was very good although the mushroom veggie offering was not up to the rest of the spread. Sadly give the Yorkshire a miss too. Having said that everything else was cooked and tasted really good. The private visit with Father Christmas and his elf was the highlight of Christmas for the little ones. Highly recommend.

Food was great but different and limited menus for different times. I only had a meal so I don't know what the spa or a lot of the rest of the place is like but it looks very nice. the loos feel cozy in a good way but when you flush it it feels like the loo will break and that is very nervewracking. as it has a spa, it has a slightly chlorine scented air in the first room you go in when you enter the house (for me, I like it but others may not) but the smell disappeared as soon as we stepped in the waiting room. the garden at the back is really nice and you can have a wander by the river Usk. :) I'd recommend going there if you're not a greatly picky eater. overall, it's a really lovely place! :)

Visited for a spontaneous and late lunch but just missed the lunch service by 15-20min but the very friendly staff and very talented chef kindly offered us a limited menu that they could do for lunch. We had the classic cream tea and open buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, and it was one of the best lunches I've had. The scones were freshly baked, delicious and were devoured very quickly.
The buttermilk fried chicken sandwich was fantastic, a bit different from a classic chicken sandwich with some really good flavour combinations that just worked and I applaud the chef and the kitchen for doing something a bit different and still delivering on amazing flavour. Would highly recommend the restuarant here, it's a lovely setting with great staff, great food and wonderful staff.

This is a restaurant that I come back to time and time again. Although it is pricey for the area, it is well worth the money. For around 25 a head (lunchtime), you get the most wonderful three course meal with wine. All the food is freshly prepared and the ingredients are locally sourced whenever possible. The location is stunning and the staff are professional and friendly.
This is the sort of restaurant which you go to if you want to relax. You are never hurried I have spent 5 hours talking over lunch sometimes yet the staff are always to hand if you need them. The location is stunning. Set in the middle of rolling countryside but near enough main roads to make it easy to access. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and there is an outside terrace to sit and drink coffee when the weather is fine. This restaurant is top of my favourites list!
