Food and service are great. Dog friendly and the staff make you feel right at home. Emma always does a great job when we visit. Highly recommended!

The food is lovely what lets this place down is the service its non existent. If you want anything you have to ask, no-one uses initiative at all and they don't appear to care. Its a shame really as i say the food it good. We wont be going back

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to the Red Lion team, I came with my mates the other day for dinner. The pub could probably do with some refurbishment, but the team and food were just amazing. The wait on food was a little longer than usual but the manager made sure to communicate this with us at the beginning and offered us some nibbles while we were waiting for the food. I usually am a very fussy eater, but nothing was too much trouble and the staff accommodated every request I had.

The Staff are simply the BEST! So friendly and helpful, I love everything about the place but for only ONE thing.the drink prices! A large Vodka, Lime & Soda and 1 x Pint of Heineken lager came to 16.10! Worth a visit but take a Millionaire with you!

My wife and I booked a table for Sunday lunch. Whilst the menu wasn't extensive, it offered a good range of choices including for Sunday roasts. The service and food were both excellent.

This might seem like a small thing, but your staff were life-savers to me today, I was going to end up stranded(phone died and the buses were cancelled), it was raining outside and I was drenched, the staff let me stay until my phone charged enough to call an uber. So thank you so much, a small act of kindness but it really saved me

I organised a birthday party for myself. The Red Lion didn't have a manager at the time so it was all done online. The week before function the new manager contacted me and everything was in place. The food was delicious and staff were great. Thank you

My daughter had a party at the Red Lion yesterday and we couldn't have asked for a better venue! Everyone was so helpful and great! The coffee was amazing and much needed and the food was fabulous as always! Thank you Red Lion Team for being so wonderful!

Let's start that when we came in we said hello to waiter and he didn't say hello, kept ups waiting in front of him till finally after 2 min sayed hello as we just appeared from now where. Starter was good ( we had chicken liver and sourdough) but even though we said we will share it, no side plates was brought. As I main I head Sunday road sirloin beef and I can just say that it's first time that I send my plate almost full back to kitchen ( I ate Yorkshire pudding and gravy with some veg ) Plus even though my plate was almost full whe. Waiter asked if we finished he never bothered to asked how was the meal.

Visited on Christmas Eve with the family. We were the only people in the restaurant and still we had to wait an hour for one starter to be delivered and then a further hour before any main meals were delivered. The Cajun chicken burger was burnt! We ordered deserts but after waiting over half an hour gave up! Our waiter tried his best but there seemed to be very few kitchen staff. Many of the meals were unavailable! Will NOT be returning!
