Very friendly staff, delicious food, very welcoming, rooms were really nice and comfortable

Great food & I can charge my car there, good beer, what's not to like.

After 5 days on the NC500 staying at a variety of locations, The Park Hotel Thurso is by far the most comfortable accommodation we have stayed at so far. Good sized immaculately clean rooms, good facilities and within walking distance of amenities, it is ideal and highly recommended. Breakfast is excellent too.

Was there for a funeral tea, friendly staff. The soup was absolutely fantastic and tasty. Lovely spread of food

Bed I felt was slightly uncomfortable and dipped to the left but that may just have been my room number 7 so wouldn't take that literally. Staff were friendly and food was good. Directly across from tescos if needing anything and maybe 5 or 10 minutes walk to town.

Fantastic stay at this hotel, we travelled all the way from the East Midlands to complete the NC500 route and this was our stop off in between, great rooms brilliant service and 10/10 breakfast. Very hospitable and would deffo recommend.

Me nd wife called in and had a meal, both were hot and tasty, would recommend it, restaurant was bright and cheerful

We popped in on a Tuesday afternoon the place was lovely and clean and decorated for Christmas tastefully. Even though they had the Christmas menu on you could still order from the standard menu, there were 3 of us and we ordered from both menus, the service was quick and the food was excellent and the staff nice and helpful, the only negative was that it could have been a little bit warmer, I understand due to covid places need to work slightly differently such as letting more air in but just a little bit warmer and it would have been a perfect 5 stars.

We were visiting family in Thurso and this hotel is nearby. We have eaten at this hotel many times before, always good meals. The dining area is spacious and the tables are spread apart well to comply with covid regulations. The Park Hotel is located on the right just as you arrive in Thurso from the south and just before the Tesco store. I thought I should post a review about the meals I had. Saturday night. Steak pie.

This has to be the best steak pie ever, so tender, the beef and gravy and the accompanied veg of parsnip cauliflower and carrots with potatoes or chips, make this dish at the Park a must have. Sunday night. Back again.oh yes. Supreme pan seared Orkney salmon. Wow . A generous sized piece of salmon on a bed of buttered spinach, along with small crispy potatoes and a similar veg served as with the above Steak pie. Delicious. Just perfect, perfect. 10/10

This should be rated higher than a 3 . Staff were so friendly and nothing was an issue from being checked in to being served breakfast it was all just great. Room was spotless, decor was lovely and most of all the bed was so comfy, a great nights sleep we had too. Would highly recommend and will definately be back.

Decent value little hotel on the outskirts of Thurso town. Wouldn't want to stay more than one night but as a stop on the NC 500 it did a job. Rooms were adequate, great shower but offset by a bed with a Homer Simpson style divot in the middle! Highlight was the free breakfast which was delicious!

Good place to stay for one night or more. You have a kettle and iron in the room. A really big shower, I think it can fit 3 without a problem :)) We also ate in the restaurant and it was good.
