What a great find! , lovely food and the staff are really friendly and knowledgable. Thank you for a wonderful Sunday lunch and we will be back soon for sure!

Absolutely loved our 1 night stay here after a long journey home from The Maldives. We were super tired and needed an early check in if we could get one, (before the normal 2 or 3pm), and as we arrived around 1245 we were given an instant upgrade and let into a room to sleep and rest up which was a nice gesture by the staff on duty, knowing we had been travelling for in excess of 20 hours in total.

We didn't make it down to dinner in the restaurant that evening as we woke up too late, so I popped out to the local M&S simply food just up the road to get a few bits to see us through, and to be honest we were almost too tired to eat. Our room was lovely with a VERY comfy bed and seating area, large flat screen TV and plenty of storage and power points (if that's your thing?) Large wardrobe/storage unit and a large en-suite bathroom with a beautiful tiled floor, roll top bath and double headed shower, plus his and her sinks.

The Staff were super helpful, every one of them polite and friendly and when we managed to get down to breakfast around 8.50am we were treated to a large pot of filter coffee and large glasses of orange juice followed by a delicious cooked breakfast, made by one of the owners (Bainbridge brothers) himself which is exactly what we needed. We were so impressed with the place that we said that we would definitely be back for a weekend break as we feel that due to our tiredness we missed out on what looks like a beautifully sculpted menu of various delicious meals and seasonal ones also, plus the largest and thoroughly intriguing wine list that I have ever seen anywhere.with wines from all over the world and a great and wide choice of Champagnes, Sparkling wines Red, White, Rose and even an "Orange" wine!

Many thanks to the Owner we met, and his Staff (especially Julie (housekeeper) and Karen (Bar-Lady) for being so kind and very considerate to us during our stay at The White Hart Hotel Most of all it was great value for money, which is never a bad thing either eh? PS: It just proves how tired we were after our holiday as I only took a photo of the lobby, and completely forgot to take any more photos, so you'll just have to take my word for it when I recommend a stay here to everyone!

We booked a table in the restaurant to celebrate an important milestone, so were hoping for an appropriately memorable dining experience - suffice to say, we were not disappointed! The food was simply outstanding, and supported by excellent service from Jamie and his team (Levente looked after us and was friendly, professional and knowledgeable). So chuffed to have such a great venue in our new home village - thank you for a great evening!

Party of 7 for a celebration - we had the tasting menu and 'wine' flight. The food was superb, with dietary needs dealt with, and enjoyable, interesting drink matching - great information from the staff about the meal and drink matches as we went through the courses. Wonderful service - we had a fabulous night.

Absolutely fantastic little hotel. We had booked to go away to another hotel for a few nights to a hotel with a jacuzzi in the room but they cancelled on us the day before. So we found this little place and as luck would have it they had a boutique room available. The room was beautiful and the jucuzzi bath was so comfortable for my back. The staff bend over backwards for you, and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious. The bed was so comfortable and we felt very at home there. We'll definitely come back.

Great experience. Flawless service and delicious food. The 'Ye Oldie Inn' setting was authentic, providing a comforting rustic backdrop. What's not to love?

The White Hart hosted my daughter's 18th in a private room we had booked. From arrival to departure we were looked after brilliantly. The main bar itself is first class and the private room was dressed and presented very well. The food was great with some outstanding dishes. Certainly far better than some alternative options locally. The most important point I'd like to make though was the attitude of the staff. Adam served us and was not just polite and friendly but attentive.

We never had to wait for anything and the balance struck between serving us and allowing us to enjoy ourselves was perfect. Dietary requirements weren't an issue for the chef and all of the above went a long way to making our night very special. Thanks to the whole team! Would recommend unreservedly.

My sister and I stayed at this hotel last night. We have stayed before about 4/5 years ago. Brilliant room, superb breakfast, staff that will go back and beyond to make your stay fabulous! Overall great hotel, will be back for sure! Thank you!

We love this place. We 1st stayed here almost 10 years ago. They offer a selection of room types, would highly recommend the Boutique rooms. Staff go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxed as possible. Good selection of drinks and cocktails available at the bar and the restaurant is excellent. Absolutely amazing restaurant, atmosphere and staff! The food was soo delicious and looking very good, top class! 5 Thank you for our brilliant Christmas dinner we had there on Friday night!
