Amazing afternoon tea, very special and the food absolutely delicious. The prosecco went down a treat too. Staff were exceptional and so helpful. Beautiful place and we were lucky to see a weeding being held there.

On a positive note this hotel is in a beautiful setting and a lot of the property seems new or upgraded. We were told there was a wedding on and there may be noise, but we didn't expect to practically be part of the celebration. We came with our two 8 year old boys and found it to be too loud for everyone. Further, the Wi-Fi didn't work and being quite rural the normal signal wasn't good, so the kids were bored. Reception was closed so we couldn't tell them.

All in all it was a disappointing stay. On check out we did complain but there wasn't a lot of effort to win us over. We regularly see friends nearby and it is a convenient location, but we won't be coming back. Can't recommend for families or a quiet stay, but I guess it would be good for weddings.

Attended a music event here on 28 April 22, a Farm Yard session. The event attracted a large crowd and the staff coped well with this. All food and drink transactions had to be done through an app which wasn't too much of a problem but, the lack of signal reception in a rural area was causing a few problems for some. There was, in my opinion, a bigger problem at the venue which the management must sort out as a high priority and that was the poor sanitary facilities at the venue.

Too start with having just two female toilets and one male toilet plus two urinals, for a crowd of 100-150 is inadequate. When one of the female toilets blocks halfway through the night, the situation then becomes unsanitary. The building where the toilets are situated was flooded with 5-10cm of liquid (I say "liquid" because, going by the smell of it, I am pretty sure it wasn't water) and nobody from the Tewinbury Farm came to investigate, despite the matter being drawn to the attention of various members of the waiting staff on numerous occasions.

The waiting time for the female toilet was between 20-30 minutes and was causing a lot of discontent. I would have given a 5 star review, no problem at all, venue, staff and entertainment was good but, how the situation with the toilets ever came to be and then to be overlooked can only be put down too a failing in your organising and preparation for an event of this size.

We got married at Tewin Bury in April and it was wonderful. A beautiful setting for a wedding, with an excellent and dedicated weddings team to take care of you and attend to all the details. Lots of guests complimented us on the venue and the food, which was also very good. We also really enjoyed it as a place to stay and definitely are looking forward to a return someday soon!

This place is like a quaint little village (it used to be a working farm). It's set in a quiet and remote countryside location, with the most beautiful grounds and a river flowing through it. Perfect for an evening walk. The breakfast was fantastic with fresh and locally sourced produce. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Went for afternoon tea with a group of 10 adults and 5 children. Tables were too narrow to be able to enjoy the meal with a large group and also the service was non existent. Definitely not worth the money very mediocre food and experience.

We attended a family wedding and stayed 2 nights. The first night we ate in the Cowshed restaurant and the food and service was excellent. Breakfast was extremely good but the food and service at the wedding was exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel. All the staff were friendly and polite and very helpful

Really posh cafe on a hotel campus. Lovely coffee and food. Service seemed a bit slow but lovely surroundings. Quite pricey but my friend paid so that's fine. . Would go again though if in the area.

Fantastic hotel, with lovely staff and beautiful grounds. We were in a Deluxe Double room which was warm, cosy and well equipped. Nespresso machine was a nice touch as was the smart TV (lots of people leave their accounts logged in so we could watch some Netflix!) The breakfast was superb, probably the best cooked breakfast I've ever had. Local produce, so fresh and so tasty, it was really really good.

Only negatives. the WiFi was very poor, regularly cut out and stopped working. Also the carpet in our room was very tatty round the skirting boards, just needs tidying up. Otherwise, a great hotel. just under 140 for the night for two inc breakfast. Also it was under 7 each way for a taxi into WGC so good to get into the town for dinner and drinks without spending a fortune on cabs.

We have shot several weddings at this beautiful venue. There is a choice or barns-which are all fabulous. Also nice grounds with a floral arch with is great for couple/confetti shots. Highly recommended.

We loved Tewin bury farm hotel for the most part. I have missed a couple of stars for a couple of reasons that I'll mention below. First impressions were good. A nice isolated retreat with old buildings was right up our street. Huge room size, lovely giant bed where we got the most amazing sleep. The room also had a fridge and safe which were a nice touch and also a very deep bath which my missus couldn't resist.

The Nespresso machine was great to see too. Didn't expect that The downsides were upon check in, the toilet lid was down and the toilet had been used and not flushed. Not a number one either. This was horrible and no one had reportedly been in the room for days either. Also, large cobwebs hanging down off the ceiling, simple stuff that isn't hard to manage especially being four star rated.

Member of staff at the desk last night didn't seem fazed and we weren't compensated for it either. Lastly, we redeemed a virgin experience gift card for our stay, but despite this, they still wanted to put a 50 pending charge on our card which we hadn't anticipated and we had borrow money from family in reception which was really awkward as we'd planned our spend during our stay. Such a shame. I would have liked to have given them the full 5 stars. Maybe next time.

Critical: Professionalism Had to cancel our Christmas dinner due to the pandemic. It was absolutely unrealistic to expect us to go in the current climate. They would not accommodate any kind of refund or rescheduling. It was handled extremely unprofessionally and with a complete lack of empathy. Really disappointed and would not go back.

Beautiful setting and lovely room. Staff delightful. Room clean and warm (important in december) Bed so comfortable. Nice gardens and a little walk around the animal area to blow the xmas cob webs away. Farm. yard entertainment was great too. 1 tiny tiny criticism.only 1 egg choice for breakfast, not a deal breaker at all but scrambled is not my pref choice. Would definately go again

Christmas Do; Food was very tasty, great entertainment & music. No coverage with phone though in tent so have to leave the warmth to get a cab/Uber so a good idea to pre book transport home so you're not standing out too long in the cold. Make sure you get picked up & dropped off very near your chosen venue as it's a vast area with various venues throughout so a bit of a walk in heels! Definitely be back though & avail of their live band sessions & afternoon tea in the new yr.

It's a really nice spot. I've been to a few events here which have been good. Had afternoon tea here and that was brilliant. Sadly lunch in the restaurant was a poor experience, snooty staff and underwhelming. Tewin could do a lot more with this site, does not realise its commercial potential.

Had an amazing time staying at the Tewin Bury Farm Hotel. This is definitely one of my favourite places I have stopped in the UK. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, and cannot do enough for you. This is definitely a no expense spared type of property, everything is high quality, from the nespresso coffee machine even down to the pillows. I will definitely be back again soon. Sad to be going back up north home today.

Its a countryside style hotel and function facility. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The rest rooms were clean and tidy. The car park is spacious, never short of spots to park. I have enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it if you like this style of hotels.

Fantastic venue, that we used for a conference. Staff were very attentive to needs and rooms are very well kept. General amenities present (coffee, teas, water and shower gels). Bed was large, but on the softer side. Restaurant had great food and a 3 course meal is around 40-50 and to an amazing standard.

Attended a funeral wake here in the stable room. This place seems to have many different facilities. I think there were rooms to stay, two weddings and a restaurant, farm shop and cafe I could see while we were there. Lots of parking, very clean, well staffed and lovely setting. A river ran alongside the decked area next to our room. I'd certainly recommend looking at this place for a function.

Had afternoon tea in the Cow Shed. All was really nice but there were large groups of ladies and it was really noisy. Preferred it where they now have dinners but couldn't fault the service and food.

We stayed at Tewin Farm hotel for 2 nights. I can honestly say it was a perfect getaway which is what we were looking for. Even though we arrived on a Sunday where it was quite busy with people coming for lunch and dinner in there lovely restaurants serving great food, also a full english buffet breakfast or pastries, fruit just about anything you want and by the evening it was so quiet.

The rooms are exceptional, spotlessly clean with everything you need. All the staff from reception, restaurant staff, cleaners even the groundskeepers were very friendly. The grounds are amazing, also are the surrounding fields, a beautiful little steam runs through the bottom end of the farm with an observation hut looking over the wetlands where we did actually see 2 water voles as well as lots of wild birds you really do feel like you're a million miles away from anywhere. I would most definitely recommend Tewin Farm hotel. Thank you to everyone Terry

Went for a lovely afternoon tea with my best friend. Very welcoming, spotlessly clean, knowledgeable, helpful servers. An excellent selection of food. Lovely to have some different savoury options. Everything was presented beautifully and delicious. The tea was plentiful with lots of choice. I would definitely recommend for a treat. Fantastic vegan, gluten free and children's options to

We had a joint 80th birthday stay with friends and family and were treated excellently. The hotel is privately owned and run by the family who still own and run the farm. Interesting rooms, many in converted farm buildings, good food and friendly and efficient staff. Rural area, not convenient if you are travelling elsewhere each day, but a great place to stay and relax. Roger G. San Diego CA.

Travelled up from london for a birthday party expecting some good food and was teased a bit. the place is very big as a whole but the actual restaurant is small but cozy. ordered the butternut squash as an app which was good. then the disaster started. ordered a fillet cooked medium rare and "triple cooked duck fat chips" with roasted root veg. the steak came cooked medium well with no veg. meat went back and then came back 15 minutes later after all of the other meals were nearly finished. oh, the other meat was also overcooked and sent back. when it finally made it back to the table the meat was passable. had no seasoning, still not cooked right and re-heated soggy chips and rubber veg. i think the table was impressed with the apps but the dinners all fell short. will not be going back anytime soon. suggest you do the same.
