Our venue has been in operation since 2000, prior to this it was a working livery and the stables are now our luxurious and bespoke suites. We have thirteen suites, all extremely spacious and lovingly maintained with traditional beams and vaulted ceilings enhancing the stable feel, all located within the charming courtyard and close proximity to the main barn. All bedrooms are equipped with complimentary wi-fi access, televisions with standard free-view channels and twelve of the rooms have stylish baths and showers.

Weddings at Coltsfoot, the exclusive use wedding venue, guarantee you and your loved ones can enjoy the day in privacy. A beautiful barn setting, recently renovated which is surrounded by stunning Hertfordshire countryside. Having the venue exclusively really does make your special day just that bit more special!
Sporadically throughout the year we host events, we will advertise these as and when, so please keep checking out our events page on the website and our Facebook and Twitter accounts. Significant birthday parties are very popular, similarly to weddings, we can accommodate up to 180 evening guests in our main barn area.

My Daughter and I stayed for a family wedding 24/5/22. What an amazing venue we throughly enjoyed ourselves. The apartments are self contained. Obv have been stable blocks but nicely done. bed with settee n views, bathroom with towels, bath n shower and kitchette with hob. I wish i had taken some washing up soap n t towel for washing up cups/glasses.
The breakfast was served to our room in the morning of the wedding - What a feast Bacon toll, fruit salad, croissant tea or coffee at 8.30am. The day after of the wedding served full English breakfast in the breakfast room at 9am. Delicious with high quality produce and expertly prepared. Only criticism I would add is there was no code in the room for the WiFi and code.
Guest 2012 for the gate if your returning late. Perhaps it could go on the notice on the wall with the phone number. With the party in full swing I didnt like yo ask. However we did find these out later. There was a family party for the owners before on the first night and management kept us informed what was going on. Thank you we will deffinatly return and highly reccommend for a base or a break. The grounds are stunning. Sorry didnt get to see the alpaccas as was having a blast. XxX

We got married here in November and Coltsfoot (especially Jessica our wedding co-ordinator) were just an absolute pleasure to work with. Such a flexible and helpful venue, the day ran perfectly thanks to all of the staff. Food was also incredible - The best wedding food I have ever had. Thank you for making our day so special - We would recommend you to anyone!

Had our wedding at Coltsfoot on the bank holiday Sunday. So glad we chose there to get married! The venue was amazing on the day. Everyone loved their food, setting and the rooms. Lots of comments from guests of how great the venue looked. Staff were also very helpful during the entire planning process and on the day itself. Especially Jessica. The new huts, breakfast bar and amendments to the main room was great! Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a venue to get married at.

Beautiful self contained venue in Hertfordshire. Hotel rooms surround the courtyard venue, along with a shepherds hut / chalet accommodation. The venue is clean, tidy and overlooks beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, visible from large glazed parts of the property. Plus their are alpacas in the fields. Dreamy.
