Located centrally in Taunton we're just a stroll from The County Cricket Ground in one direction and Musgrove Park Hospital the other. Our smaller Compact double bedrooms have standard double 4ft 6 beds and are more suitable for a one night stay. The Corner House is a Victorian building with uneven levels and is spread over 3 floors and does not have a lift. We have one Disability Accessible Room on the ground floor opposite Reception and our Pet Friendly Rooms are on the ground Floor in our Annex.
Just off J25 on the M5, The Corner House offers two versatile rooms within the heart of Taunton, perfect for events, meetings and conferences. The Function room holds up to 60 delegates whilst the Josephine Room is perfect for more intimate meetings and events. Both offer all the amenities you need for your event and at an affordable day delegate rate or 24 hour residential package. From boardroom layout to theatre style, this room is ideal for any occasion and offers seating from 2 to 60 delegates.

Just had a wonderful overnight stay with dinner and breakfast at The Corner Hotel in Taunton. Staff are extremely helpful and did everything possible to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The room we had was spacious, well maintained and comfortable. The best thing was the food in the restaurant. Great value for money, made to a high standard and quality ingredients. No corners are cut and the whole experience just felt right. I would highly recommend.

First time we ate there was in October off the main menu. Second time was in December off the Festive menu. Both times the food and service was excellent. The belly pork just falls apart, moist and full of flavour. As for the dessert, can't make my mind up which is the best. The Chocolate Brownie or the Sticky Toffee.

We held our wedding reception here. Emma, Rachel and Carlos were very attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly. The food throughout our stay was first class, especially the wedding breakfast. We can't praise them enough. Most of our guests stayed and were very happy with the very comfy beds. We also had a Sunday roast which was great the following day! We will be back for our anniversary.

Despite a few issues with my booking (not the fault of the hotel) the response from the 2 receptionists was excellent. Both Jane and Emma did there best to make sure that everything was resolved. The room.was comfortable clean and had everything I needed. The breakfast was freshly prepared and of a good quality.
