Me and my children absolutely LOVE this hotel and have stayed a few times during the Summer holidays. There is not a thing that I can criticise it, so I will list all the wonders of this gem. Firstly, every member of staff from the waiters, waitresses to the man that cleans the pool, from the receptionists to the man who cleans the windows are genuinely lovely people who cannot do enough to help.

Next the gorgeous grounds, beautifully maintained and the outdoor pool with lovely poolside rattan furniture which makes us feel, on a sunny day that we are in a tropical beachside hotel! This leads me on to the delicious food, adored by my two fussy girls and enjoyed very much by myself! The rooms that we have been in have been very comfortable with luxuriously tiled bathrooms and scrumptious cotton linen and fluffy pillows.

The buffet breakfast is perfect as is, in our opinion this Hotel. Ok, I lied: one complaint is that it can't be half the price so that we can come more often! Enjoy people :

This is a great hotel. Reasonably priced for its location, good rooms if a little on the small side & marvellous food and wine. Staff are very relaxed and friendly.

The enjoyment of the stay will be down to the choice of room you get (there are over 90). I have only stayed here in a single room which was a bit tired. Having said that the restaurant more than makes up for the room. The head waiter is very experienced and his suggestion of wine was extremely appreciated. The food and service is superb although cost is on the high side - about 35 for 3 course meal plus drinks, the breakfast is 15.

The hotel is in a lovely location - although its just outside Enfield town, you feel as if you are in a remote country location. We stayed here on our wedding night, in a beautiful 4 poster room with a double jacuzzi bath. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was allowed early access to the room to leave stuff in there. Very impressive cooked buffet breakfast.
