Mum stayed here when she visited me, she said it felt safe and easy to check in and out, room doesn't have a safety box though, which it said it had on Hotels.com. it also said it had breakfast with all rooms on their own website (it actually didn't say it came with breakfast on hotels.com) but they need to update website so it isn't misleading. It was like 9 or something per morning breakfast to eat in Jenny's cafe.

The roseview is a reasonable budget hotel option - moreso if you need to stay in Muswell Hill - but with a couple of improvements could become a serious competitor to premier inn. I stayed in single room 205 - it was a nice tall room which I liked (better than the loft room I had previously on floor 3) but was let down by the bed which felt like bits of metal poking were poking into my back.
Just replacing the mattresses with sub-100 ones from IKEA would massively improve the stay. Staff were perfectly friendly, but no more - I was queuing up to check out behind some other people who were complicated. That in itself is fine, but on getting to the desk I discovered I knly needed to drop my key in a box. A more aware receptionist would have spotted me waiting for 5+ minutes holding my key and let me know I could drop it and go (or even better have some signs to that effect!).

At an average of 80 per room for a large double, with easy parking (even if you don't use their car park as parking is available free all around the hotel streets outside 10am to 2pm) it's a bargain. Yes the rooms aren't brand new but they have character and they are super clean and for 40 per person to step out with muswell hill on your door step and Hampstead and Highgate 8 mins Uber (8) and Notting hill just 20 mins away (for example) it's super convenient.
If you want a base to visit places and you don't want to pay 15 to 20 per day just on parking alone then you can't beat it. Lived in London 25 years so I have a bit of experience with hotels. That's not even going into the service the staff provide which quite a lot of people have commented on, they really are super helpful and super friendly. Thank you to all of you and we shall definitely come back next time we come back to London.

Hotel is clean, location is good and price is right for the facilities provided. Parking can be a bit difficult, especially if you come in for a late check in. People make the difference. When I checked in first on the 21st, I was greeted with a very stressed receptionist as I had a late check in. He was waiting desperately for his boss to approve his holiday, so I was just standing by. Needless to say, it was all made up by this young gentleman the next day. KAMAL.
If it was not for this one person, who answered to all my needs, I would have had a bad experience. Like I say, people and thier customer service can solve the biggest of problems. So I extended my stay for one more night and had an issue with my room and within a minute, Kamal was there offering me another room. Hope the management recogniseas such service of thier employees who make all the difference during these difficult times.
