Services
Built into one of the Oasts the Blue Room is completely round providing a unique perspective. There are far reaching views across the Sussex Countryside. As befits a King size room there is also a King Size bed which can be used either as a double or can be converted into two large twins depending upon your needs.
The Oast is situated in 1066 country with Rye, Winchelsea, Battle and Hastings all within easy reach. We can cater for up to 50 guests for functions and (if required) up to 30 guests for a formal wedding breakfast. If the weather is good then exclusive use of the walled garden is also included in our functions which can add much not only to the atmosphere but also to photographs.
There are many castles in the area like Bodiam and so many National Trust Properties and Gardens. We can't guarantee the weather but when it is good then there are plenty of places to sit in the sun. The miles of sandy beaches at Camber Sands, the slightly harder stony beaches at Hastings and the cliffs at Fairlight Country Park.

This was a birthday surprise for my husband a night away in Rye. As we drove towards this beautiful B & B it was breathtaking views and first impressions were very good. As we arrived we were greeted by Kate who made us feel so welcome, showed us to our room which was immaculate & had everything we needed. Her attention to detail regarding Covid and the little extras in our room were appreciated.

We were handed a little gift bag with face masks and hand sanitizer. She suggested a lovely pub for an evening meal which was great value, tasty food and lovely friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. All local sourced produce and Kates own homemade sausages. We thoroughly enjoyed our little break and only sad it wasn't long enough. Thank you Kate we look forward to seeing you again very soon
