A lovely hotel with bright airy, spacious and comfortable rooms, with nice White Company toiletries and lovely views of Bath. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was excellent. The breakfast included fruit, cereal, excellent croissants toast, Juice and Tea/Coffee. If you want something more substantial, there is a wide choice of great cooked breakfasts at an additional cost of c8-10. Parking can be tricky but permits are provided at an extra cost of 15. Overall good value for comfortable stay in beautiful location.

Lovely Bed and Breakfast. We had the Crescent Suite it was absolutely beautiful with views of the garden and rugby field. The hosts are wonderful people who very obviously love their business. Home feel, very clean. The continental breakfast is amazing they have lots of variety of food from toast, cereal and fresh fruit everyday to the main meal off their menu which was always hitting the perfect spot.
Come down for tea or coffee any time and the hostesses will chat with you for hours. Perfect walking distance from everything (everything is under a mile) One hundred percent would recommend.

The Windsor is a beautiful former Georgian townhouse situated in the center of Bath. The rooms are beautiful, bright and airy. Friendly service and a delicious cooked breakfast sets you up for a day of sightseeing with many attractions just a leisurely stroll away. Been coming here over numerous years and it's my home from home

Husband booked a night here for my 40th birthday. Unfortunately I got COVID 3 days before so had to cancel our stay. My husband asked if we could come any other day this year instead and they refused and said they weren't able to offer us an alternative day as this was their policy. They said they would try and sell our room, but due to storm Eunice this did't happen.
We tried to call all afternoon to discuss the matter further, and we emailed too, but they didn't return our calls until 18:30 (a few moment ago). The lady was so rude on the phone; incredibly unprofessional and showed no compassion what so ever. She wouldn't allow my husband to speak, kept interrupting him and and raising her voice at times. She actually said that we were "lucky" that she'd attempted to even sell our room and try and get our money back.
I'm sitting here in shock to be honest. Future travellers - please think very carefully before booking into this place. The behaviour of the manager towards us, especially the unprofessional way she spoke on the phone, indicates how they deal with complaints.

Just had an excellent 3 night stay in the Windsor Townhouse. We were delighted with the location on Great Pulteney Street it was almost like stepping back in time. Once inside we were very warmly welcomed with a much appreciated tea & coffee after our journey. The decor & furniture were very tasteful and loved the traditional tiles on the entrance floor.
We stayed in the Windsor room which looked out onto the lovely street. The room had plenty of space with a lovely four poster bed & a beautiful huge mirror above the fireplace. Tea & Coffee were available in the room along with a mini fridge. The selection of toiletries in the bathroom were a lovely touch. Breakfast was everything we had expected & more, from fresh fruit, croissants & of course the famous full English breakfast.
The quality of the sausage & bacon were really nice, all was freshly cooked & piping hot. It was obvious from the moment we walked into the Windsor all the staff wanted us to enjoy our stay in Bath & at this lovely hotel. Thanks all for making it a special experience we would certainly recommend The Windsor to family & friends x

We have just left after a fabulous stay. The location is perfect for exploring Bath, walking to restaurants and shopping. The townhouse is so pretty and the welcome so warm and friendly. The breakfast is the best I have ever had. We stayed in the Windsor and had a beautiful 4 poster bed. Parking is included which is great.
