A booking was made and paid for as an act of care for a Homeless couple so that they could be indoors on a freezing cold night. The couple were subsequently 'ejected' from the Hostel simply because they identified as Homeless, they did nothing wrong at all and were simply dehumanised and humiliated because of their status. Disgusting. If I was closer they'd be needing new windows! Absolute scum.

Don't stay here if you want to sleep before 3am. The noise from the club is so loud it shakes the room. And no, ear plugs do not help. Weird vibe in the rooms, the bathrooms are okay at least. And the location. But that's about it.

I have no idea what kind of business your running; accepting payments for people to stay and not a single person on site. Having tried to call for over an hour to your "dedicated 24/7" support line and still not being able to access the building. You are insane and I personally think your a scam artist. I've been left on the streets tonight due to your lack of incompetence and I have a video to show no staff were there on site to assist me when I arrived. disgusted and appalled is an understatement.

Horrible place and nasty staff and management. Someone paid for a homeless couple to stay there for one night of warmth and they were turned away and told " we don't want your type here". This is going to be taken further. They were only too quick to take someone's money

The staff was great, the room quite clean and great location, but that's pretty it about the pros. The room is really the minimum that you can have in an hotel, a double bed which two simple beds stuck to each other. Horrible mattress we were in pain all the next day with our backs. No decoration, few basic lights, the room smells cleaning products a bit.

No A/C of course, if it's a bit hot outside it's very hot inside when you open the windows obviously the street is very noisy but it's expected due to the location. Anyway was not the worst experience but definitely not recommended as we didn't sleep well. Cheers to the staff anyway because they were very nice.

Spent some nights here in a 3 bed dorm. The room and the toilet was sparkling clean, although the room very small; we were three people but only two chairs. Decent overall. By the way, you must bring your towel, otherwise they'll just rip you off 6 for it! Helpful staff!

Smart in town if you value location above everything else and can chain your bag to your bed / lock ya bag up ( no lockers) the staff are nice, but there seems to be a lot of seedy types staying here. They keep to themselves but I guess it depends how safe you want to feel. Cops were in the lobby watching footage a couple times while I was there (1 night) Otherwise I think it's fine (lone girl traveler). The room smelled, can't comment on the noise since I was out all night. There is a smart in Hove a short bus right away, cheaper, cleaner and safer.

Room was basic to say the least, windows and curtains were filthy. Shower was hit and miss if you got cold or hot water. Only stayed in the hotel for one night (a few hours) but that was more then enough. Also accidentally left a shirt behind in the wardrobe and when I realised and phoned the hotel a couple of hours later having checked out apparently there was no sign of anything left.

Very hard to believe as it was a expensive designer shirt. The cleaners or any of the staff claim they found nothing, so you can add dishonest staff to the list of reasons not to ever stay here! Fantastic weekend in Brighton though as always slightly ruined by staying here!

Needed somewhere handy for 3 nights. It's in a great location, there are lots of good restaurants within 2 minutes of the hotel. It's rated 2* so it's not going to be overly fancy. Our room was clean & it got cleaned every day. Reception staff lovely & helpful. We had a small kitchenette which was handy. I would stay here again.

Cheap and on the sea front with polite and helpful staff. but not for me so I stayed somewhere else and got a refund. It's run down and shabby and I understand things wear out but, there's no mattress or pillow protectors and dirty carpets and the standard room I was shown had blood stained pillows that look like someone was murdered in there, the windows didn't close or lock, the thin curtains were hanging off the rails so you couldn't close them so good luck sleeping once the sun and seagulls were up. The easy access room was better but still not for me.

Good points. Beach front with stunning views, clean, spacious room, reception staff pleasant. Not so good. Very noisy from main road, hard to sleep, take earplugs! Nice walk in closet but not many coat hangers and what looked like a wardrobe was actually a fridge and microwave. And sink etc, nice. Curtains not dark enough, needs a dressing table and full length mirror in room and maybe a clock, tv is very small.

We had very noisy people above us, hardly slept first night, floors are laminate too. Complained on 2nd night. Slippy bathroom floor and shower not very powerful. View best part.

Room was okay. me my partner and 4 year old daughter in one room was quite a squeeze. but they did supply a child's bed free of charge. And as it was only for one night it was fine. but for any longer it wouldn't be ideal.especialy in the summer. A plus in the room was a kitchen behind cupboard doors which contained a microwave. plates bowls knives and forks and spoons. with a sink unit.

And underneath was a fridge with very small freezer. I was impressed with this. Plenty of storage for clothes and stuff and bathroom was very nice. no bath but good shower. Not an amazing view. but considering the hotel is on a side lane I was happy to atleast see some nightlife and a small part of the peer. Overall our one night stay was more than okay.

The room was not clean when we got there and the pillows are very small and uncomfortable. Needed about four of them to finally fall asleep. The view is nice and the staff will do anything to make you feel more comfortable.

Great hotel, Great price! We had a triple room with a view of the sea. The room was clean and had a great shower with plenty of storage space. As we were in the superior room we had a microwave, fridge amd kettle with plates, cups etc. All perfect facilities for us to make hot chocolates before bed. Only suggestion is that there was only 1 mirror (in the bathroom) and we felt it would have been useful to have another in the bed area.

They only initial give you 1 pillow however, if you just ask at reception they're happy to give you more and the lift only goes up to the third floor (4 in total) and has a bit of a jolt when leaving the ground floor - so bend your knees! All in all great stay, lovely staff, perfect location.

Nice place according to the place. The rooms are normal, warm and the beds were pretty comfortable. The bathroom was small and the shower was a bit uncomfortable, the water would overflow. Anyway, the place was on a great location, and the breakfast was included and was pretty good. The views from the breakfast room were so cool, you can see the West Pier. Would recommend to travellers staying for one or two nights.
