Ty R Graig Castle The Tyr Graig Castle is a landmark hotel situated between the mountains and the sea. Only 1/2 a mile out of Barmouth town centre and on the borders of the Snowdonia National Park. There are magnificent sea views. The hotel was originally built in 1891 for WW Greener the famous Birmingham gunmaker and it is alleged that Mr Greener made the gun that was used by Doc Holliday in the famous "GUNFIGHT AT THE OK CORRAL".

Lovely hosts who took care of us. The castle is in a good location and is kept very clean and tidy. I left something behind in the room and they managed to get it back to me although I live over 100 miles away! I can't fault the service. Highly recommend!
