I can't enough about the Tudor Hotel! We stayed there recently and had a medical issue. The staff could not have been more kind and helpful. From picking up medications to delivering food to our room, they consistently went out of their way for us. We unfortunately didn't meet the owner, but he did offer to pick up anything that we required. Those checking on us daily were Helen and May amongst many others. I will never forget their care and concern for us.

Place was tidy to look at, all mask rules were being adhered to, spaced out well. Service was good, all hardworking staff, pleasant, but all of us were slightly disappointed with the food, thought they couldn't go wrong with steak pie as I haven't had it in a while, very plain, veg were tasteless, considering it was Christmas eve. Disappointed

Been to the Tudor before for dinner and drinks but tonight was only drinks with friends in the Harry's bar section of the hotel. Had been for a drink here before but it was too busy and it seemed like it was full of school leavers and old men that had been to the sunbed far too much, strange combination. Tonight though it wasn't as busy, music wasn't as cheesy and the crowd seemed a bit more older with a good mix.
We got a big table which was great and ordered drinks quickly at the bar with no issues. Nice place and would go back for drinks, food is nice and large portions but just a little above pub grub standard. Haven't stayed in the hotel before so couldn't comment on that as yet.

I have been to the Tudor Hotel many times over the past few years. However this last visit I had was the worst. The restaurant itself has undergone refurbishment to a bistro setting and I found the surroundings to be comfortable and better than before. At the time I went in with my partner, there were only 5 other customers and 3 staff I could see wandering around.
First of all we waited around 15 minutes to get a drinks order taken and a further 10 minutes before the waitress returned. I ordered potato skins which were okay although the droplets of spice around the plate was just untidy, dated and not required. We then waited a further 15 minutes after finishing before anyone came to take our plate. This was after the same 3 staff passing our table many times.
To be there for 40 or so minutes and only just have our starter plates removed, we asked for the bill and left. Extremely disappointed and won't be back. No excuse for the terrible service received.

The food can be a bit of a hit or a miss but the atmosphere in Harrys Bar is great. Miss the burgers in the restaurant as they are as dry as the desert but the roast beef is just spot on. The desserts are overpriced but that leaves room when you more into the bar. This place is always buzzing. The prices are just right for this type of place although its cheaper to drink alcohol than soft drinks.
Yes I have been in the function suit for funerals and conferences. The food it traditional at funerals but the service was outstanding. At conferences the food was soup and a range of finger foods and again the service was brilliant. No fussy eater went without.

I have never actually stayed in the hotel but have eaten/drank there on countless occassions. It has progressively went downlhill over the years and this saddens me because it was very, very good, fresh, reasonably priced pub fayre. Now as in previous reviews it seems to be frozen or reheated rubbish that has no taste or value for money whatsoever.
The service i have to say is absolutley rotten but i have always had issues with the service, especially when you first go in and the only decent, private seats havent been cleaned yet, it also takes an age to get your bill. Look elsewhere for better service and grub.

On previous visits to the Tudor Hotel we enjoyed the food we had however on the last visit, which I might add was for a special occasion, the service was absolutely terrible. Given the number of staff who appeared to be roaming about doing nothing it was very difficult to get anybody to pay any attention to you and when you did finally grab their attention, the looks could have killed.
When we finally ordered our meals and they were brought out some considerable time later, we were not even offered a dessert or tea / coffee. Needless to say we will not be back here again!

I have never been a huge fan of the food in the Tudor Hotel but it has always been okay but on my last visit it was awful. It is certainly going downhill. I waited for a table for about 10 mins while 3 members of staff completely ignored me and then eventually seated myself at a dirty table. The menu is in serious need of a re-haul and it is pricey for what you get, which is basically frozen food.
I ordered Scampi which consisted of a crispy shell and not much else, there was virtually no fish in it. My chips were also cold and hard. One think that was good was the tarter sauce but then that did come out of a sachet. The other think I hate about the Tudor is when you get your bill and want to pay by switch you need to go out and wait at the hotel reception desk to do this. Which is very amateurish. Sadly Airdrie is lacking in good places to eat and this is probably why the Tudor keeps busy.
