Its their warmth and extended care. Nilima at the front desk was making my stay feel home kudos to her. She extended her hands in helping me from day 1 check in till check out. I stayed there for 3 days it was a vacation trip of our family. Room service people can be a bit more polite. The breakfast buffet the dishes were good, but it was very crowded. Somehow they managed to their best. Overall the stay was good. And i have not received the feedback form from taj since i am a member and i wonder why?

We spent my birthday here and were there for a day for a staycation and the experience was amazing. The staff was nice and helpful. Room service was a bit slow but maybe because that was a busy day for the hotel with almost all rooms booked. Rooms ---We got an upgrade to the suite on special occasion and got complimentary cake and drink too which obviously added to the overall experience. Ambience --This surely is an aesthetic property.
I have added a few glimpses. Food ---Their morning breakfast buffet was amazing. Loved the taste and the food options. Proximity --Many famous cafe restaurants are nearby if you want to explore.

The services were rapid and hassle free to avail. Staff was extremely helpful and polite. We had to extend our stay by a day and it was accomodated in the blink of an eye. The breakfast was healthy and they made every effort to make it enjoyable for the residents. It is located in a beautiful, green location. The evening high tea was equally enjoyable during our three days of stay.

Has nice lawns. Has a nice pool area to lounge (unlike its ITC neighbour). The lobby used to be really grand before they decided to partition it into a serving zone. I think they killed the aesthetics of the place by doing that. Staff and service are very good. They measure up to the Taj standards. Spicy Duck is very expensive but the food makes it worth it (tho they can do a better job of the desserts)

I have good experience. Environment was pretty clean all corona protocols were followed. Food was great and staff was pretty attentive. Only issue that i have faced was the food access from basement function. Also once you our for food, washroom access was pretty far! Rest all is good. I have seen people planning all parties and functions with their closed ones. Taxi services are good. Valet parking is also available.

This was the best hotel me and my husband have ever been. Location, food and rooms were amazing. But overall the best part was the service! You ask anything and they will do anything to get it done for you. They were all amazing! Me and my husbands new bucket list is visiting every Taj palace in the world. Highly recommend! The con however, it will make every other hotel and resort you have ever been look like trash haha

Best in class service especially for the rooms and food they offer. The hospitality is very good of the staff here. They make you feel at home. You will have a memorable experience for sure. It is very close to airport and probably best option in that area. They also provide early check-in and check-out if you request for.

For some reason, as the weather warmed today my mind went back to staying at The Pierre over Christmas. All hopes dashed for a magical stay. Tea Room closed. No Room service. Fireplace in suite not working. Drains that needed to be snaked (who knew) and while taking a shower the shower pan overflowed. Overpriced and overpromised. Don't stay there. Needs a structural, managerial and marketing overhaul.

His is also the hotel which came up post common wealth games in 80s. The convention centre is also very famous here. On one of the busiest and VIP road it's rooms are good and has Taj standards of service. The details I write are for the Taj club rooms which are well done. Just the need to refurbish the chair and sofa as they have sunk. All else is good. All Services is slight delay. Must be due to the complete opening and shortage of trained staff

I am extremely grateful to have had the fortune to stay at Taj Palace. I am awestruck by the eagerness to help, courtesy, generosity and kindness of each one of the members of the stuff: from the reception stuff to the room service, to the dining hall stuff and the cleaning stuff, including the attentive and caring chefs. I am a vegan and experienced the unusual care of the waiters, room service stuff and chefs in providing me with options to eat and overdelivering with kindness and concern for my satisfaction even when I expressed complaint for the quality of one dish.
It has definitely been the best hospitality experience in a hotel I have experienced so far in my life, in terms of elegance and excellence in conditions and kindness in service (so scarce in a world turning more towards mediocrity and indifference). I highly recommend the Taj Palace :)

I have stayed here in the past but will never ever stay here again. I cancelled my reservation and I find out that they are attempting to charge me again as they cancelled a different reservation. This is no way to treat a customer staying in an expensive suite. I have now spent an hour of vacation time dealing with this disingenuous hotel group

The pierre ownership is terrible. we had issues staying in their grand towers suites for 5 days (means $). we paid full prices and received less than standard accommodations. we had issues and reached out to the owners/gm who never returned our cIall. i finally spoke to him after several more trys after checkout. i told him our stay had issues and while i was explaining he drifted off. i asked if he even cared, he answered was no. this was a waste of 9k for 5 days. stay at the plaza. location 5 star gm / owners. 0 star

Stayed at the Pierre for 3 days after my husband's surgery during COVID-19 era in November 2020. Loved everything about the hotel. The deluxe city view room was a bit small and not as bright, so we upgraded to a park view and absolutely loved it. Most of the amenities were not available due to the pandemic, but all we needed was a comfortable COVID-free bed which we got and more.
If we ever have visitors from out of town, I'm booking them a room at Pierre. PS. We live in Manhattan but husband was advised against walking up stairs after the surgery. We could have gone home after the first night, but decided to make it a staycation.

It's like home. They take care of everything, from car service to managing my train schedule. They're a fabulous crew at The Pierre. The views over the park are fabulous and I enjoy waking up to my hot coffee that is quickly sent up from when I order it. The wonderful ability to have both a shower and a bathtub in the bathrooms is so nice.
So many hotels cut down as much space as they can to maximize the money, but The Pierre is client focused and the level of comfort is unbelievable. I called earlier this summer to make a room reservation, but they had closed until September. They apologized and suggested another hotel that was open, but I caught myself saying, "but I want to go home!" And that's true, The Pierre is like my home. I look forward to coming back as much as I can this winter for Christmas shopping, but an apartment at The Pierre is my only Christmas wish.

Came here for afternoon tea a while back. There was a groupon deal so decided to check this place out, was deciding between the Ritz and here but the food here looked yummier. We got seated and were served a choice of tea pretty quickly. Then, we ordered our food and waited for the food to arrive. The vessel that carried the food was really pretty.
I really liked how everything was bite sized and there was alot of variety with the food, from both savory and sweet. The food was cooked well, the sandwiches were tasty and the dessert was moist and just the right amount of sweetness. The price was on the higher side but it was a nice occasional treat to have an afternoon with friends.

We were extremely pleased with the comfort, beauty, and level of service provided by the team at the Pierre for our wedding day. Although we did not host our wedding on-site, the team's attention to detail and professionalism provided us with a wonderful day. While there are many elegant hotels in the City, the history, comfort and elevated service of the Pierre is unmatched.

Where do I begin, My recent stay at Pierre for our anniversary get away in early February was perfect! First I found a great deal for top hotels in the area, Pierre had the best $$ including everything it had to offer from hotel location, it's amenities, restaurant, even hotel fees were a winner for me, on top of that -absolute amazing personal all around. Location, Location, Location Is right in the middle of the city.
Central Park right across, 5th Avenue, perfect location for everything. Unfortunately don't remember all the names, however the first greeters when you arrive to hotel, attendants, front desk, concierge, elevator attendants, room services, restaurant staff- everyone treated us like royalty. Although our room didn't include fabulous views, The room itself was fabulous. Etro bathroom amenities, Robes and slippers for comfort.
Daily unlimited water bottles and lots more. Complimentary early morning coffee, tea offered daily with fresh baked goods, and water to go. 5-8am is early but great bite for a morning. We also had a pleasure to try the Restaurant at the Pierre. Impeccable service and yummy food. The hotel is small, beautiful, cozy. I will definitely be back. Thank you Pierre Hotel for awesome stay!

Came here for the Afternoon Tea b/c of Groupon Pros: - Liked how they have a good mixture of savory and sweets. Along with the warm scones, the spiced chicken tartlet and deviled eggs were part of the highlights. - Lovely ambience although the room was a bit tight - Their selection of green and red teas were relatively limited but their options for black tea was great - the Pierre Blend was delicious! Cons: - The sandwiches were a bit dry - Very clean bathrooms. Fancy towelettes.

Well, I'll tell you this, the only reason I'm giving this such a high star rating is the service (NOT THE FRONT DESK) but everyone else. The housekeeping is really best I have ever seen, so good. Also having someone in the elevator taking you up and Down was really nice. The front desk needs to wake up. We checked in at 4am after a 13 hour flight, first thing you want to do is take a shower and brush your teeth.
The water was YELLOW. Only after showering and mid brushing my teeth did I see it. I called the don't desk and they responded by saying "oh no one told you". I only checked in at 4am to shower and sleep They gave us no compilation. We told them how unhappy we are with our room and said we are willing to pay for an upgrade to someone better and they offered us either $800 more a night or $5,000 more a night and said they had nothing else they could offer us. Friends checked in a few hours later and they offered them a $100 upgrade to a room with a view and 2x the size. I'm not sure if they wanted to get us to pay more because we looked like we could but that was really wrong of them. Never going back.

4.5 stars. Perfect location across of Central Park, near Madison & 5th Avenue so great for shopping. A short taxi ride to Broadway and Timesquare, complimentary as hotel guests within a certain distance so no complaints there. Helpful staff, ideal location and wonderful suites. I love the old luxe of this hotel and there is definitely a homelier feel to it.
My husband was here last year during winter when the park was covered in snow, so I decided Spring would be ideal for vacation and sure enough, everything went better than expected. I was debating between this hotel and the Ritz. I take issue with having to call for water bottles. And in the mornings, Coffee/tea and pastries are offered at the lobby between certain hours.
I like to roll out of bed, make coffee and relax in my robe. Or make a second cup of good coffee before dinner as I'm adjusting to the time difference. Well I can't do that downstairs so we ended up ordering cappuccinos nearby. And because of my caffeine and water addictions, I cannot give this 5 stars because I found that to be an inconvenience. Other than that, housekeeping, front desk, doormen, and everyone here provided excellent service.

What a gorgeous suite room we are staying! Contemporary and roomy Just right amount of decoration! Love the feature in the bathroom. Deep height drawer just in front of the washing place. I can set all my lotion and stuff in that drawer. So everything looks clean! Lots of windows to see the down town sights from every single rooms. Terrace is amazing for the morning coffee to enjoy! Very privileged to stay in this Charles Pierre Suite.

I came to The Pierre for a wedding! It's small for the number of people who were there, around 400, so it definitely felt cramped, but that's not their fault. It's a very luxurious and glamorous venue with a Venetian vibe to it. I was mesmerized by the ceiling and wall art the whole time! Waiters were flexible with last-minute changes to seating and serving very stuffy guests.
If you're going for a showy, flashy type of party (or if you're marrying someone rich!), The Pierre could make sense for you. The wedding took place across three small rooms for the cocktail hour, then the reception (with dozens of people standing in the back due to lack of space!), and then dinner in the ballroom. It was fun to explore from room to room. FYI, take a light cardigan, as certain parts were chilly.
I just wish they had more bathrooms and that their valet parking was more affordable! It's insanely expensive for just a few hours. The wedding started at 6pm and was still going when I left at 1am. They held it down for us! Overall, it was a lovely time and I'm glad I went. If you're reading this, feel free to invite me to your weddings here!

Most 5 star reviews are from folks who came for brunch or ate here. This one comes based on the stay. All deducted points are due to the stupid concept of imposing a large resort fee onto guests. Seriously. I kept looking out into the street wondering where the beach cabanas were and when the towel leavers would come out and set up the beach chair. Instead, I realized that the fee was for wifi and bottled water.
And a newspaper which never came. Shit I could get for free at a $150 Holiday Inn Express or Fairfield by Marriott. When a luxury hotel nickles and dimes their guests over having a pen and paper in the room while charging 5 star prices for. lets be honest. what is a 4 star room, they should expect a review to call bullshit on them. You want to charge me a resort fee in Nice, France where uniformed Cabana attendants give me suntan lotion and freshly laundered towels. great.
You want to charge me a resort fee in NYC for wifi and generic bottled water, here's your fucking two stars. Enjoy. The rooms. nice. Not The Ritz, St. Regis or even the semi-shitty Plaza. Probably would put them on the level of a nice Autograph Collection Marriott or Kimpton. Nothing special but not terrible. The staff here. friendly to apathetic. Would I stay here again? Fat chance. Enjoy my $33 'resort fee' for a hotel. and your two star review cheapskates.

Beautiful, gorgeous hotel settled in Manhattan. Right across from Central Park it's a beautiful hotel with a famous landmark right next to it. Known for its French influenced decor the hotel was absolutely magnificent. Location- 2 East 61st Street, Manhattan, New York City, United States. Just look for the fancy hotel little couple of feet across Central Park. Interior- French inspired marble white with black lining flooring. Chandeliers with crystals and light blue sky roofs at the rotunda with balconies that swirl to the top.
The interior is luxurious and fancy. It's more of a quiet, romantic hotel than a social hangout one. The outside on the building rooftop looks like an old French chateau. The rooms very spacious with comfy bedding, the bathroom was spacious with marbled flooring and a stand up shower. Everything was beautiful and clean with all the necessities filled soap, toothbrush, cotton swabs etc. Again, French inspired decor. Service- everyone was super friendly.
They made it a point to remember your name and they even brought us an anniversary cake in the room. Always helpful with directions and giving advice on tours and broadway shows. The service was impeccable. Thanks again Pierre! You made New York even more enjoyable.

My boyfriend bought a groupon for the afternoon tea here and we came on a weekday around 4:30pm. The servers were really nice and gave us recommendations for the teas. All the snacks and desserts were pretty good and was after everything I didn't expect it, but it really filled us up! Ambiance: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 4.5/5 Groupon deal: 4.5/5

I came here for lunch for Restaurant Week and I wasn't that impressed. The service was great. The waiter made good conversation, always made sure we were taken care of and was very attentive. The restaurant was beautiful and the bathrooms were stunning. My fiancee enjoyed his whole meal and said he would go there again just for the Apple Tart dessert.
As for my meal, I had the 'Roasted Butternut Squash Soup' for my appetizer which was delicious and my favorite part of the meal. For my entree, I had the 'Sauteed Mushrooms' entree which was mushroom bisque and pumpkin gnocchi and while I love mushrooms and pumpkin, I think I learned I'm not a gnocchi fan. I wasn't the biggest fan of this dish. Lastly for dessert, I had the 'Dairy Free Panna Cotta'.
I never had Panna Cotta before so this was a gamble. I believe it came with grapefruit sorbet on top which was delicious as well as all the fresh fruit on it. The Panna Cotta itself was just okay. It was kind of tasted like a weird cheesecake in a way. I wouldn't get it again but it was nice to try.

Ambiance-5 Service-5 Food-4 Value-4 with Groupon 4.5 stars for this place. When in NY, I love to do afternoon tea. And a Groupon is the deal clincher here. Loved the ambiance and presentation. It is a a little expensive, $110 for two without the Groupon! We paid about $78 for two with the Groupon discount of the day! For this price, I would love to see more variety of tea on the menu.
The scones were served warm and delicious with clotted cream, lemon curd and strawberry preserves. The choice of tarts and pastries was amazing; sandwiches could be a shade better, though. Go for an authentic British High tea experience!
