The Suncliff Hotel

Rooms are clean but ours had no window that could open and was next to the lift so was awkward getting in/out of room while people were waiting for or leaving the lift. Asked for an upgrade room, paid little extra but our new room is amazing. The hotel staff are absolutely brilliant, very much helpful, friendly, polite and accommodating to needs especially if your disabled. First time visiting Bournemouth and it's a lovely place.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! Specially the ladies at the reception, the lady with glasses and dark hair was always smiling. :) Hotel is old but we still liked it. Our room was clean and nice. Walls are very thin so only down thing was we could hear everything from other rooms. Like dog barking, Family talking etc. Pool was nice but need improvement, still enjoyable.

Bed is super comfortable! :) Bathroom was super clean and I think it was freshly refurbished! It's look like they slowly refurbishing things. Which is great I think! Overall we enjoyed our time there, We spent there only 2 nights but We will definitely visit again for longer days. :)

Dog friendly! They were very friendly and accommodating since we arrived very late ( almost at midnight) without a reservation and they found us a very nice room with sea view! The staff was very friendly and professional! This was not a planed destination but I'm glad we ended up there! Will Definitely be back!

Very enjoyable stay for two nights. All the staff we came across were professional helpful and friendly. Bedroom wasn't huge but was clean with comfortable beds and were serviced on request. We even had a side Seaview which was unexpected. Food in the restaurant was well cooked and enjoyable. Entertainment on second evening was very good. Swimming pool was an added bonus and being able to use outdoor pool in hotel next door to relax by in the sunshine added even more. I would definitely return. Only thing you need to be aware of is walk back up from the beach or town is uphill but there is a bus that runs past hotel if required.

My son uses the swimming pool here for his swimming lessons. Lovely pool and really good shower. Parking is very easy and is free as we stay a short time. Staff have always been very welcoming.

It was our second time at Suncliff Hotel and we had a great time. Service was good, the room was clean and quiet, the location is perfect and at sea front. In the evening they had karaoke at the pub and we decided to spend a couple of hours there and have dinner which was fun, we really enjoyed it. Just what we needed. Will come back

The staff were really efficient and friendly. The food was lovely. Our room was reasonable but we had no view just the roof of the hotel and there was a bad smell in the room which I think was emulsion paint. On the whole though we enjoyed our stay.

What a fantastic hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, particularly Fernando, he always greeted everyone with a beaming smile. The hotel is extremely modern and up to date. The decor is striking, the rooms were very spacious and the carpets were immaculate. The on site bars were fantastic and extremely reasonable in terms of price. Also very close to many local amenities. Bournemouths premier "rock bar" is only a short distance away for anyone looking for a good time. Will definitely visit again

You get what you pay for in life and for what they charge at this hotel you get a hell of a lot. Very friendly professional service, nice clean comfortable rooms, great leisure facilities and very good food. Right opposite the beach with an easy stroll into Town and back Highly recommend to people with a budget that are not expecting a 5* hotel for next to nothing but we have certainly stayed in a lot of 4* hotels far worse than the Suncliff

Stayed at the Suncliffe Hotel, between 1/3/14 till 3/3/14.in a single room. Whist having a shower, the glass shelf in the shower decided to come off the wall, nearly missing my bare feet. The glass could have shattered but fortunetly did not, i was shocked and reported it to reception, who seemed concerned, but did little to ease my concerns at checkout. the room was noisy with doors banging all night caused by other guests in their rooms

The hotel, is very nice etc gym and pool and big, the finish of the room is to fair standard through and for the money one would pay for a room in a hotel like this fill it lets the hotel down. Whilst I can't not fault the room I Pay 30 per in another hotel and enjoy my room, more than this one. Hotel over looks the sea, on hill great views. I would be willing to get rid of such great views for a near locations as it is a good 20 minute walk into town. How-ever if you not worry for your rooms and want good views and a distance from the town then is the hotel for you.
