The St. Mawes Hotel is set right on the waters edge and has been substantially refurbished and modernised in the last few years. Although we call it a Hotel we like to think of ourselves as more of a bar with rooms, so not to disappoint those who seek to find traditional hotel accommodation. St mawes is situated at the end of the Roseland Peninsula and is known as one of the most idyllic harbour villages within Cornwall and the UK. St. Mawes benefits from a temperate climate making it a year round treat. For those wishing to relax you could not have found a more beautiful or peaceful resort for your Cornish holiday.

So ridiculously affluently middle class, it's a parody. Chaps in their pastel tailored shorts, suede loafers and copy of The Times and wifey in her de rigueur in her polo shirt, sailing shoes and Country life magazine. However, what they do, they do very, very well. Some of the best views, high and low, in the village though the carpet in the hotel really could do with a deep clean and those one shade muted colour paint work great in 1999, looking old hat now.

Ordered pizza for our dinner after arriving in st maws despite me being confused ove the name my son in law had put in my name not his. The young man sorted it really quick he is a credit to your company. And we will be coming for dinner as a family due to his action. Pluses the young ladies behind the bar was also very polite and friendly.

Called in for a 'coffee and treat'. This is 5 per person. A choice of treats. We both opted for the flapjack. What great value! We each had a delicious cup of coffee and, what I can only describe as, a slab if homemade fruit and nut flap jack. Absolutely gorgeous. Right from being shown to our table, by a wonderful young man, and being served by another superb young lady, the service and value for money were excellent. I know the hospitality industry is struggling at the moment, but WELL DONE St Mawes Hotel. Your staff, service and quality were exceptional. Thank you
