If you're looking for good cheap hotels in London Victoria, you should check out the Sidney Hotel London. This hotel is located near London Victoria Station with a walking distance to Buckingham Palace. I got to say this is the best hotel I've been to. It's neatly kept and the rooms are big and super comfy with a big kitchen and bathroom area. Everything is well maintained.

The staff are very courteous and even the receptionist smiles at you when you walk in the lobby. The housekeeping staff are extremely helpful too. Highly recommend the Sidney Hotel London to you all.

The Sidney Hotel London is a great hotel in London especially if you are on a budget. I was very impressed with the quality and cleanliness of this hotel. The staff is super nice and friendly and the location is amazing, not far from the station. The room was the highlight for me, I really liked it a lot as it was extremely comfortable. The view from the rooms was spectacular, overlooking the beautiful city of Victoria. I loved this place so much that I actually ended up staying for 2 weeks. Really recommend this budget hotel in London Victoria.

Screw these pirates! We had a trip planned to London in May/June 2020 but coronavirus happened and it was impossible to get from Australia to the UK for a long time. We had prepaid through booking.com so the hotel gave us a voucher to use once we could re-book our trip. Fast forward to December 2021 and we booked flights get to London for April 2022.

I contacted the hotel to book the stay but was advised that they were expiring our voucher on 31 March 2022 and would make no exceptions. So. Can't redeem it when we need to 2 weeks later. Just keep our money for nothing guys. Maybe London has been open and operating as normal for a while, but Australia hasn't. We've only just been allowed to travel between states from NSW to WA on 3 March.

We have done our utmost to get there as soon as physically possible and you pulled the rug from under us just in a nick of time to keep our cash for nothing. Well done. Thieves.

Really enjoyed our two night stay. Hotel is fresh, well presented & tidy with lifts to all floors. Faisal on reception (sorry if I've spelt that wrong) was really helpful and ordered us a taxi to king's cross when we left. I booked through booking.com and the price we paid was very reasonable & included a continental breakfast which was great. I've only held back a star because when I stripped our bed to give housekeeping a hand, the pillows & mattress were heavily stained.

For anyone looking for cheap hotels in London, Victoria this is definitely worth the price. Firstly, the location is amazing as everything is nearby which is super convenient. This hotel in London Victoria was within walking distance of lots of great sights and places to eat. The broadband connectivity was really good, which was important because we were on a workaction!

We were greeted by an amazing host who made sure our stay was comfortable. The room was clean and hygienic, which is so important now. I really can't find anything not to like about our stay at the Sidney Hotel!

My wife and I received great hospitality here. It's among the best central London budget hotels. We chose this hotel due to its location in central London and walking distance from a lot of tourist places. The room was comfortable and the view was great from our room. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and provided fantastic service throughout our stay.

The food was delicious with a variety of options specially for breakfast. If you're looking for budget hotels in London Victoria, this is a great choice. Book early on their website and you could get more attractive discounts.

Booked via Booking.com Our Stay at Sidney Hotel was just what we needed. Very accessible area, outside of C-Charge and close to Pimlico Station. We did drive down for our stay (there is no parking for this hotel! however there is on street parking which is free from 6:30PM to 8AM (or 8:30AM I cant fully remember) Rooms were clean. bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed. front desk staff was every friendly and helpful throughout the whole booking process and arrival.

Breakfast wasn't the greatest - if stayed again I wouldn't pay for breakfast and would go out to eat. for the price we paid via booking.com this is a good hotel - 4 stars due to breakfast. the price of which we saw in the hotel (200+ a night - single room) it is not worth it! Stay smart book ahead via Booking.com

Good location good size rooms I think the one we stayed in was newly done. Comfortable however if your tall may have issues due to length of bed. But I was short so it was ok. Didn't have breakfast but it's include in the price.

Our flight was cancelled due to the storm. No possibility to change the booking to the next weekend. Easy jet was willing to change our flights without even any additional cost. This hotel choose to treat all guest equally unfair. Already had discussion about airport taxi service, was included according to booking.com. According the hotel not, but they had a very good service of getting us a taxi quote. People on the phone can hardly be understood. I would never recommend their service to anyone!

Very clean hotel, with nice staff, in good location, easy check in and check out, close to station and shops. And that's all in terms of props. Cons include very small double room, short bed making my legs hung out, no English breakfast (just egg, toast, jam and cereals), very tiny bathroom with poor lighting (can't see myself in mirror when shaving).

And the main concern is the bathroom glass door as not everyone feel comfortable being seen when doing 1 or 2 ! No privacy in this term. Overall 2.5 stars, stretched to 3. Thanks

I've have been traveling in Europe for 15 years and the hotels where I've been staying has always let me store a suitcase while I was touring and planned to stay when I returned. Never before has a hotel declined to store my luggage. This is a first. I'd find another hotel.

I booked this hotel through booking.com and am thoroughly disappointed with the customer service at both the hotel and booking.com. Amidst a global pandemic, the hotel is not offering a refund even though they are not allowed to be open. To juxtapose, during this same trip I also had a hotel in Paris booked, which contacted me (without asking) to cancel and refund my reservation since hotels are not being allowed to reopen until July 31st, at the earliest.

I would have been traveling with small children and now, with the new restrictions on airplanes requiring them to wear masks for 13+ hours and the fact that we will not receive our passports for months due to office closures. Do not book this hotel and do not use booking.com, you will be disappointed!

Pretty much what everyone else has said. The rooms are tiny(like most European hotels). There was an elevator. Our room was nicely renovated and very clean. The bathroom was medium sized with a great tiled shower. Breakfast could have been better, but I've seen worse. It's a great option to the $400/night hotels in London. The location is very convenient to Victoria and Pimlico stations.

The front desk staff were very nice and multi-lingual, but slow to help with directions. The location was very handy to Victoria Station and several great restaurants. Some of the renovation work was finished but the smell of the varnish lingered. Our room's color scheme was gorgeous, a hazy blue green with white trim; however the bath was super tiny and already the sink had a huge chip out of it.

The continental breakfast (cereals and croissants) was served by several ladies who had no love of people. Our room was also tiny. The double bed took over the whole space. There was no air conditioner, no screen on the window and no place to put our luggage. The price was pretty high for what we had.

Probably the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The staff weren't friendly and seemed put out by our existence, especially Igor, a supervisor! The room was extremely small and not well designed as there wasn't anywhere to put our large suitcase so that we could access the clothes in it without scraping off the paint on the walls.

I would've unpacked but there wasn't much space to accommodate our things on the whole two shelves provided. Our window looked into a dungeonesque type of area and there was construction at the hotel during our entire stay. On the positive side, it was about a 10-15 min walk to the Victoria station and about an 8-10 min walk to a Sainsburys BUT there wasn't a refrigerator in the room so we couldn't buy anything perishable. A good number of restaurants and pubs nearby and the bus (#24) picks you up outside the door and will take you to Piccadilly and Leicester Square.

I was so nervous about staying at Sidney Hotel (booked via hotwire blind deals) after reading many reviews. We stayed for 5 days, from the US, and I would book here again. Prices were very fair and the hotel is in a great location. Near Victoria train station, which, if flying into Gatwick, is very convenient. About a 15 minute walk to the major tourist attractions.

A cab never cost us more than 15gbp to get back to the hotel. Staff is helpful. Lobby has information on all tourist attractions and a computer available to use for customers. I had a problem with the wifi, but my fiancee and dad did not. Rooms were very small - but not a problem if only using for sleep. Bathrooms are small, too but very modern. Rooms were clean. Comfy beds.

They hold luggage for you at checkin and checkout which was convenient. Breakfast has few selections but a lot of food, good coffee machine in the breakfast room. Bars and convenience store about a minute walk from hotel. Also - photos on the hotel website are dated, at least of the lobby.

We reserved 3 beds and the hotel overbooked and didn't have our room. We worked through it. If you need wifi, don't rely on it. Horribly slow and can't get any work done. Not run very well.

I and my wife stayed at Sidney Hotel for 2 nights and it was very good. Right across the road from Pimlico Underground Station. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and the service was superb.

I stood here November 2014 & it was my first time ever in London! I was very excited and had so many things we wanted to see in such a short period of time (4 days) to be exact. That been said we also had a Budget since we were headed to Paris France for 6 days. So this hotel was perfect for our 4 nights in London. It was not too pricey considering that London is very expensive!

Yes the rooms were Small (very small) & a lil outdate, the bed was not the Comfiest, & the bathroom was a shoe box lol but considering for the Price & that we only got there when it was time to go to bed & just shower in the morning & leave again for the whole day, then it was prefect! I won't mind staying here again;)

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and had a good experience. It's located on a beautiful row of homes and hotels near Pimlico. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and even let us switch rooms to one with a better window view. The rooms are quite small, but sufficient if all you plan to do is sleep and bathe. The included breakfasts, although not diverse in what they offer, were very good.

There is no A/C, but London weather rarely requires it. The ceiling fan was more than sufficient. The wifi is fast and free. If you're looking for a hotel with American standards in mind (space, furnishings, amenities, etc.) keep looking. But if you want a conveniently located, budget-friendly place to stay in a quaint neighborhood, consider the Sidney Hotel!

Convenient to Victoria Station, but I wouldn't stay there again. The staff were very nice, but the room was cramped and too hot with no ventilation other than a window out to an alley that was also a service entrance with a harsh spotlight and lots of street noise. The beds were too soft and the bar was often untended. Breakfast is included, but not worth eating more than once - basically croissants, toast, cereal and tea/coffee.

Internet is extra. Besides the noise from outside, there was lots of noise inside as well. The floors and walls must be thin because we could hear people walking above us and the staff working in the early morning.

Beautiful Hotel from outside. We stayed here 3 nights for a reasonable price. If you book your room in the hotel you might end up paying 200. So check for a good rate online. Our room 105 was very small with a plastic bath. Room was clean but you hear your neighbor walking, talking and eventually guests walking in front of your window to the breakfast room. Bring Earplugs then you might sleep well until 7/8AM. Staff there was friendly & provided a good service.

Me and my partner had tickets to see Wicked at the Apollo and needed a reasonably priced hotel that was near by. they advertised their hotel as being in Victoria, which it clearly is not, and it took us about half an hour to find after getting the tube to Victoria. It is the most expensive hotel we have ever stayed in and it was the worst. the staff were very rude and short with us.

They said we could check in from 11.30 and when we arrived, an hour after, they made us wait for 15 minutes and then informed us that it still wouldn't be ready until half an hour after. the room was tiny, half the lights didn't work, the bathroom itself was also tiny. the hotel was quiet and mostly clean but it was by no means what I was expecting for the money we spent. the breakfast the morning after was extremely limited not what I'd expect, or have previously experienced. this hotel stay actually put a slight dark cloud over a wonderful few days break. I will definitely not go back.

If you're just looking for somewhere to lay your head as you pass through London, the Sidney Hotel is clean, convenient and we were able to obtain a reasonable discount. However, if you have a lot of luggage, you may find the room a little small and, if you're a light sleeper, you're right under the Heathrow flightpath. The dining room only serves breakfast, but, if you want a meal at any other time, they hold a fair selection of menus from several restaurants who will do free delivery to the hotel.

Stayed here and was very happy with the room and staff. Hot breakfast every morning is good. The only downside is that it borders on Pimlico, a sort of rough neighbourhood. The only reason I'm not giving this hotel 5 stars is because it's not the best digs in London. Would recommend to anyone!
