We had a good time food excellent but the hotel is supposed to be refurbing very poor finishing no pressure in the shower a dribble, paintwork a lot to be desired, no information about the hotel in the room, flat screen tv tiny hardly any channels, 360 for a room a bar and breakfast worth 240 the hotel offered nothing else it's a shame spend a bit more money could be so much better won't be going back feel ripped off

The hotel advertise to have seaside view in every room. I can definitely see the sea, but what I mostly could see is the car park. I was hoping for a room with a better view. The room itself was clean and comfy. The hotel is at a perfect location - it is close to the pier and the train station. The room was reasonably priced. I would visit again.

We only went for dinner at the Cliftonville Hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was delicious and is pet friendly. A number of guests who were staying at the hotel had their pets with them and they were allowed in where you could eat.

Great location for the town and sea. Sea view from our room. Our room could do with a spot of decorating but the rest of the hotel was great. Very friendly staff and the breakfast was very good.

Delicious mothers day lunch. Food was superb. Had hoped to sit at the round table that my mother in law had booked but think there was a mix up with someone else. However our table was lovely and had a very enjoyable lunch. Loved my Sea Bass. Staff very friendly and helpful

Edwardian hotel. Room needs a lick of paint but clean and staff friendly. Breakfast good - although missing a few items on the menu for a few days. Had an evening meal in the bar 1 night and food was lovely.

Lovely staff and a comfortable room with a great sea view. The food we had was great. Salt and pepper squid starter was amazing, cooked to perfection and the chilli mayo was superb. Haddock was a beautiful fillet and the batter was light and crispy.

Old fashioned value for money. Only popped in for a quick drink and the staff couldn't do enough for us. It's a hotel but the prices were very reasonable. Definitely return.

Loved the Edwardian Eloquence. A real-life Seaside Hotel, very well maintained property, which I believe since the lock- down folk are falling in love with again. They are from a period pre-descending the super modern hotels, yet giving that sense of what has gone before - but stimulating our senses of belonging and reliving bygone days in real time. Great feeling.

Visited for a family evening dinner and used WiFi for work one day during August. We were very well looked after from all staff, food and drinks were excellent too. Impressive service considering that we were outsiders. Thank you.

Nice pleasant hotel. It says its family run but it doesn't have an atmosphere of being family run, it's more business like. One of the barmen (the older one) we overheard moaning about working, moaning about other staff and moaning about alot of things and he rarely smiled, it wasn't very professional. The rest of the staff was lovely and pleasant. The room was clean and modern with beautiful views. The food was really tasty and plentiful.
