This is a 2 star hotel next to the train station and 10 min away from Oxford city center. I think the price you pay for that is very reasonable compared to other hotels. I've read coments about the decor and how old it looks, I have to say in my opinion this gives the hotel proper character and makes it unique, both me and my mum thought it was very welcoming and had a nice atmosphere. Rooms were clean and had everything you might need.
Service was great and breakfast was really nice too. I would definitely repeat if I were to go back to Oxford. If you are looking for something fancier, obviously be ready to pay much more.

Takes 15 mins to walk into central Oxford (at a decent speed), The owner was friendly and staff even accommodated my boyfriend to bring breakfast to our bedroom. Which was lovely, only down points were that the decor was dated and bathroom door was a slide door which didn't give the most privacy considering it was right next to the bed. My partner paid and when I heard the amount, I believed you were paying more for location and less for the actual hotel. Not 100% sure but I believe a central Premier Inn might have been cheaper, with more privacy, modern decor and with bigger rooms.

We stayed for a 3 night break. Lovely couple running the Hotel. Very convenient for the train station and city centre, it also has plenty of free parking for it guests onsite which is an added bonus. Great breakfast. Also very covid safe, operating a 1 way system and plenty of hand sanitizers around the property. Highly recommended

I really enjoyed my stay here - check in was quick, service friendly, and although the room was nothing fancy, it felt very cozy. The private bathroom was actually immediately across the hall from my room, so that was convenient. Breakfast had options for both continental and a hot cooked meal. Really convenient location right next to the train station.

Stayed here with a friend while visiting a conference. Was ideal. Beds were comfy, staff were friendly & helpful. The room was not the most modern but fine for our purposes. The shower was actually incredible, & the morning breakfast had plenty of options. I had a big breakfast of cereal, scrambled eggs, sausages & toast, it was fantastic.
