Services
We offer a mixture of double and twin rooms as well as junior suites with sofa beds. Each room is equipped with the features you would expect in a three star Hotel, plus personal touches found only in a privately owned business. The rooms are spread between the original main house, dating back to 1650, and to the rear of the building in the original stable block or courtyard. We have several ground floor rooms and one that is purpose-built and wheelchair friendly.
Our kitchen team work tirelessly to create a delicious blend of modern international cooking and traditional British favourites. Using locally supplied ingredients including Cotswolds meats and locally grown produce, with the emphasis on seasonality.
The Cotswolds is one of the most 'quintessentially English' and unspoiled regions of England where you cannot help but fall in love with its uniqueness. The Redesdale Arms is an ideal base to explore the area. Popular with both the English themselves and international visitors from all over the world, the area is renowned for rolling green hills ('wolds').
The Redesdale Arms can be easily reached by train and Moreton is on the main line from London to Worcester and a short walk from the station will bring you to the Hotel on the High Street. The Redesdale Arms Hotel introduces its first walking guide, containing three local walks to suit all grades of walker.

Nice venue! Stayed there 2 days and 2 nights. Strongly Recommend. Not much to do around the village, so might as well ask info at the reception desk. And honestly, it was the best restaurant from all 6 that we visited in the town. If you are lucky to catch warm weather, you can also take advantage of their back terrace/garden. The staff were nice and helpful, although there were a few times where you could notice they were slightly stressed, maybe short staffing levels. Special thanks to Alex the waiter, the young gent at the reception who was quite informative and to the nice ladies who work the breakfast shift. Thank you!

Stopped for a Sunday supper. We had booked a table in the dining room but our friends brought their dog so the staff were very happy to seat us in the bar with no fuss. The waiter was extremely helpful and happy to offer recommendations. All food and drink were great. A very pleasant evening.

The hotel room was great, particularly the en-suite where there was somewhere to place all my toiletries. Good choice at breakfast and the cooked breakfast was excellent. The staff we encountered were all great from the initial booking through to breakfasts. We were cycling in the area and the hotel stored our bikes securely overnight. Great location for cycling in the Cotswolds.

A nice pub which served good food in the market place. A bit of a quirky layout, it was very busy, but the service was quick and friendly and the food delicious. Only bad thing was the wood smoke from the fire, it got a bit overpowering at one point and I like the smell of wood smoke!

Loved the battered fish! So crispy, so meaty! All round fantastic fish. The 0.5% shipyard was a great low alcohol beer also! Tasted real good! The chips where lovely and fresh, just could have been a bit crisper. Great meal out thank you.

Just spent a lovely weekend here. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The restaurant food was absolutely delicious, they need to hang on the chef. Would recommend the Redesdale without hesitation

Second day running that we have visited this lovely pub/hotel. Excellent lunch and service yesterday which only encouraged us to walk in from our campsite and have an evening meal. Fairly busy for a Wednesday evening in January. Friendly, efficient service and excellent food. Lovely house Merlot. Comfortable and warm lounge with an open fire. Table service offered for food and drinks which was good and all servers wore masks. Will definitely be back again when we next visit. Lovely staff are all a credit to the Redesdale Arms.

Apart from an uncomfortable bed, the rest of the experience was very good. The staff and the food served is a real asset.

The welcome was exceptional. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. We had roast. The beef was very tender and not too thick which was ideal. The vegetarian roast was just with all the trimmings and no meat. The roast potatoes were a little bit 'old' as we had the roast in the evening. All in all overall it was a good meal. The only thing was, when we went to pay there was an 'optional 10%' service charge placed on the bill.

If you didn't read it properly you would be charged 10% on the food and drinks. My partner and I don't agree with service charges as we like to tip an amount if we feel the establishment is deserving of one. We had the option of taking it off which we did. Overall a welcoming, warm venue with good food.just don't taint it with the service charge!

Lovely rooms, clean and with everything you need. Even a complimentary glass of sherry! The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is very good and the drinks are nice too. Would definitely recommend for a stay, a meal or even just a pint.

Although our room could have been better with a sinking floorboard and in need of decorating and upgrading we had an excellent stay. The staff without exception were helpful and professional. A very special mention must go to your chef/chefs, i have a medical problem that means at present my body can't cope with any fat at all. We contacted the hotel prior to our stay to check that they could accommodate me in the restaurant.

Not only did they manage to rustle me up a good breakfast every day they produced a printed menu with two options for every course at dinner. The food was excellent and i am so grateful that i was able to have this excellent break. Please thank the kitchen as no pub local to us has been able to serve me a fat free meal so all of our party were very impressed. Thank you.

Good starters nice out door seating area. Main course of Chicken with potato gnocchi not so good, sauce tasted and looked like a tin of tomatoes had been poured from the tin straight on the plate. Would go back for sandwiches and starters but not mains based on this experience.

Strolled into town, looking for a nice place where dogs are allowed. To be honest all pubs in Moreton are nice but this was the only one open I could find at 12. Staff friendly nice little out door area at rear to sit n drink n eat etc. Great little dog bar. See pic, where you can help yourself to water and treats.

Amazing staff, breakfast and over all stay! Everyone was helpful and happy to help. Room was beautiful (small double room) with everything you need. Stayed during a 'heatwave' and a/c was on when I walked in. Thank you
