Raemoir is available on a private use basis only and we encourage you to see the house as your own which ensures that your imagination can fly whilst keeping your day intimate and special.
Explore what Scotland has to offer from fascinating local history to world-beating food and drink - who needs to go anywhere else? We have the playground of Aberdeenshire, Royal Deeside and the Cairngorms on our doorstep and we have done our best to source a rich variety of experiences that you can tap into, from horse riding to stargazing to making your own gin.
You are looking for somewhere private and professional but you'd like a sense of space with plenty of break out areas. You would like to get everyone together but still have space to relax and distance if needed. You want to work with your team but somewhere where there is plenty room to play. And you would like it to be somewhere impressive and accessible.
Raemoir comes fully catered with its own Master Chef and kitchen team, poised to create personalised menus with you in mind. We can create a five course fine dining menu with paired wines, a luxury picnic hamper perfect for a day out or everything you need for a simple firepit barbecue - just let us know what you fancy.
Raemoir is a dream location in many ways but the feather in our cap is the house itself. The original building, now the Ha' Hoose, was the original Raemoir House dating from 1690. We believe it might be the only functional Ha' Hoose in Scotland and it house 4 of our ensuite bedroom. The shared spaces in the "new" house and the ensuite bedrooms each have a character all of their own, reflecting the fascinating history and legacy of this grand Georgian Mansion house. Not many properties of this age offer an ensuite toilet in every bedroom but it is a luxury expected by discerning guests of a quality venue.

I don't know where to start, but this was the best experience of my 42yrs on earth. I just got married last week at the Raemoir House and it was the absolute best experience of my life. The staff (Mihaela, Petra, Alex, and all those whose names that I didn't get) were absolutely incredible. The owners, Neil and Julie Rae are two of the best people on earth.

They couldn't be any more accommodating and gracious. They put the guests first and ensure that you have the most amazing and unique experience ever. I've been to 1000s of Hotels/Stays/AirBnBs in my lifetime and I could honestly say that there wasn't one that compares to the treatment that you get at Raemoir House. The atmosphere of the house and land surrounding it are breathtaking. We will be back. Thanks again for everything!

Raemoir House is in a beautiful and peaceful location and the building is full of character and charm. The best thing was for us the warm welcome of the stuff and incredible food. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel / "exclusive venue" it's a shame the owner is the rudest person I've ever encountered in hospitality. Update: The owner does love to dismiss critique by questioning validity. So to reply the timescale of my review is irrelevant. My wedding was at Raemoir and I, along with many of my guests experienced the owners disgusting behaviour. Accountability, honesty and grace are beyond him. You only need to look at his responses to even the most minor of criticism to see hospitality is not his forte

Beautiful venue. But under the distinct impression the staff are overworked. They don't generally seem to enjoy the job and appear fed up and lacking enthusiasm I'm sorry to say.

Beautiful location, beautiful building, beautiful grounds. The staff was great, rooms were very comfortable. They accommodated an entire wedding party for us no problem. I would highly recommend.

Stayed a few days for a family wedding here absolutely brilliant. Room and facilities spotless more than comfortable. Breakfast and dinner very tasty and of good quality. Staff welcoming and happy to help at any time. As for the wedding spectacular, can't fault any part of the weekend. Top quality wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Visited for a small lunch. Very inviting, service excellent and lovely ambiance. Food was beautiful.small and tasty, just hat was required. Checked out dinner menu. Small selection but at this time of year it could be the reason. Will definitely visit again. Waiter, Kevin, was very competent and not intrusive. Gold stars all round

Scottish Country House about 30 mins out of Aberdeen in the middle of a wooded hillside. Rooms a good size old fashioned in keeping with the manor house style, but not cheap at 120 for a double although may get it cheaper for single occupancy (phone and ask). Menu was short with only four items per course, but I was looking at a set menu for 30, there may have been an al-la-carte.

The food itself was good but a little too fancy for my taste, for instance my chicken came with a sauteed potato cake affair with a radius of say 6cms and height of 2cms - personally I prefer something a little more substantial. But it tasted good. No draft bitter but that not unusual, they did have some great local bottled brew. I would imagine the hotel does well for weddings - would be a lovely summer setting.
