Comfortable very clean bed. Lovely room. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Only disappointment was the breakfast we were asked to wait as our table wasn't yet available but there was plenty of empty tables. The waitress then asked the people sitting at the table who were finishing their coffee to move which I thought was rather rude. The breakfast wasn't hot and the bacon had dried up. The waitress then started clearing the table before we had finished

Great hotel in ideal spot for York town. 30 second walk over Bridge and your in york city centre. Room is clean and tidy and breakfast really nice. My only down point is the walls are a bit thin and you can hear people talking next door especially during the evening when it's alot more quiter. Other than that a great hotel in a great location.

It was me and my girlfriends first time in york and the hotel was in a great location to discover what was in york. The hotel room was superb, the bed was really comfy. There was a nice bar downstairs and a nice area to have a drink and something to eat. When we come back to York we will always use queens hotel.

This is the first time to stay in a hotel room on a corner, with 2 windows, each window placed on each wall, therefore different view, more of it, being able to let them slightly open if I needed fresh air. From my room I had nice view towards the river. Happy with the room facilities with the exception of not having a charging socket for my phone, near the headboard. Nevertheless, the battery power pack that I carried with me came handy. Nice staff and helpful with providing information. I haven't had time to try the food there.

The hotel is very central to all tourists attractions & our room had a lovely river view. However, even though we paid for parking at the hotel it was always full. Our room was comfortable. Unfortunately the bathroom needed a little bit of TLC: loose toilet roll holder, toilet flush needed adjusting & just general wear & tear. Also, the bedside cabinet was filthy. It hadn't been cleaned for months.

We found that the the staff were helpful. Theresa especially was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our breakfast which more than met our needs. However the evening meal could have been better. The first night we had very little sleep as the the mattress was hard and we thought of going home early but Theresa was empathetic and asked if a duvet would help which it definitely did.
We also didn't find the refreshments in the room suitable as we don't drink tea or coffee. We also had trouble finding the hotel as the sign was not visible from the direction we came in.
