Warm welcome and all staff very friendly and showed genuine interest in guests. Situated in lovely village of Moulton. Ideally suited my needs in the area. Accomodation clean and comfortable. Breakfast cooked to order. Ample parking at rear. Would reuse if back in the area. I didn't have a need to use it, but note that at time of visit (June 2022) the restaurant was not open in the evenings - host provided alternative local options.

The hotel has a rustic/homely vibe to it but what makes it 5 stars is the staff, so welcoming and really helpful. I only stayed for one night but have absolutely no complaints as it was so welcoming and I was made to feel more like family than a guest. The cost per night was very reasonable and breakfast was perfect. Would highly recommend!

Family member has recently moved near to the area and this was the closet hotel to him. The hotel is in a great location with great things to see, such as theatre, church and other character charms. The hotel itself has great character features from the original design with ample parking and accessible rooms for those that may struggle mobility wise to access the higher floors.
The owners are extremely friendly and knowledgeable with the local area even providing a trail map of things to see in the local area, sadly due to our family gathering we were not able to fully do this; however on our 20 minute walk out of the Village, we noted that the Village has a local CO-OP, Post office, two restaurants and two pups in the near facility.
The hotel provides a lounge and other communal area for relaxing however we didn't get to check these out. The breakfast in the morning was superb with a vast range of choice. Susan the owner was very attentive during breakfast, ensuring we had everything we needed from Coffee, Tea, Fruit Juices ect. They provide a range of different breakfast selections, we opted for the full English breakfast, I had two poached eggs and my partner had fried with black pudding, I'm not a fan of black pudding, but my partner advised that it was one of the best black puddings ever and would have their breakfast again, the owners are very attentive to ensuring that your stay is as welcoming and friendly as possible, we will 100% be back again in the future.

I have rarely had a better greeting than when arriving at this small, yet perfectly formed, hotel. The rooms were clean and generous, the owners Susan and Nick are wonderful human beings! Though Nick has a problem with GAS. Guitar Acquisition Syndrome and will happily talk for hours about his 4 and 6 string obsessions. Highly recommended! Ben

Highly recommended from anything from a family stay or just passing through, we had to visit family and so please we found this gem of a place to stay. It is very clean and tidy and the owner takes a personal pride in her hotel. Spent ages chatting to the owner as we left as and it was very evident the pride she takes not only in her place, but the pride she takes in the village too. Wishing you all the best in getting your restaurant back up and running very soon and we can't wait for the next excuse to visit you, and if we don't have an excuse, we might just pop in anyway. :

Lovely hotel booked with the idea of access Northampton town centre (6 miles away) without being caught up in the rat race. However, Moulton village itself is a gem, quintessentially a ideal place to explore off the beaten track. We curtailed our plans to drive into Northampton and wandered sround the area for a couple of hours. Plenty of historic buildings with a story to tell and the the residents were so friendly. We've made friends and plan to return soon.
