I was moved into the main building from the annex, which I thought would be an upgrade, but I instead spend the week living in a building site! Significant refurbishments underway without prior warning or consideration for guests. Hotel was a mess, work materials left down corridors, contractors working from 7am (lovely wake-up call!). The room was relatively recently refurbished, but wasn't completed to a high standard.
The walls/ceiling aren't very thick and was woken twice in the night by people showering in other rooms and the sound of water gushing through pipes. Decided to swerve the bar/restaurant given the state of the place and reading other reviews I made the right choice! If this had been a trip for leisure rather than business (meaning I had to be up relatively early and was out the hotel most of the day) then I'd have checked out after the first night. Lovely location, very poor hotel!

Booked a room for a last minute escape to Bath. Really friendly staff (especially the South African receptionist) and a great location. It's sat right on the river and I was lucky enough to have a room looking over it. Unfortunately the hotel was under renovation when I stayed so I can't comment on the interior facilities. Even with building works going on the staff made sure noise was kept to a minimum and it was honestly no disruption whatsoever. The hotel is about half an hours walk to the city centre, or 2 minutes to the nearest bus station. I would most definitely stay again.

Stayed in Bath an extra night because of Storm Eunice but was wanted to find somewhere more affordable than the hotel we were staying in the centre of Bath. The Old Mill, what a great little find. Perfect spot on the river. 30 minute walk along the canal into Bath centre. Basic but pleasant and spotlessly clean room. Delicious food served in the restaurant on site however lots of lovely pub options close by too. Would stay here again.

The hotel was clean and run by helpful staff and in general we had a lovely stay. However, much of the hotel is overdue some tlc. It's tired and probably needs a cash injection. Also we spent much of our stay opening windows or turning off radiators.it was just sooo hot. Perhaps an area where money could be saved?

Place was deserted and for a reason. Premier inn prices for inferior accommodation and service. Basil Fawlty and team could do better! Bed was like a board, room was small and poorly furnished, carpet was filthy and the beer in the bar undrinkable, all at premium rates. Must say location is lovely but not for a foggy January night. Back to the mainstream players for me. At least you know what you get.

Lovely spot by the river, spoiled by a poor selection of drinks, pretty average food, and slow, indifferent service. But worst of all: I got a 100 fine for parking in their car park! There were no signs about needing to validate parking - just that the car park was for customers only - but I got a threatening letter in the post a few days later. Absolute shocker. Go to the place on the other side of the toll bridge instead: much nicer all round.

Being a student midwife i was looking for accommodation for after a night shift. The staff here were incredible and was able to accommodate the check-in and check out times i need. The room is very spacious and bed was extremely comfortable. On arrival the staff was very friendly and remember my booking and got me checked in quickly. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be coming back soon.

We were pleasantly surprised. Stayed in the main building, room for 3. Beds were really comfy, pillows comfy. Room was facing the car park and above the main entrance but not noisy. Lot of parking spaces available. Decor was really nice, not dated at all. Everything worked and was well thought through. The gentleman in reception was always happy to help, never tired, never unpleasant, very professional.
Restaurant downstairs is gorgeous, overlooking the river and the mill wheel. Good choice of drinks, very pleasant atmosphere and staff. Dining area pleasant and breakfast very tasty with stunning views. Would definitely stay there next time. After a bad experience with a hotel in Cornwall, this hotel definitely cheered us up.
