Such a lovely hotel. I stayed here after a night out with friends. When i first entered, a nice lady took my bags upstairs for me and was ever so helpful with asking what time was convenient for me for breakfast. Beds very comfortable and room felt lovely and cosy. When it came to leaving, i had very bad signal on my phone so i couldn't order a taxi to where i left my car the night before. So the gentleman offered me a lift to my car! Lovely countryside hotel and i will gladly stay again.

Stayed here for my birthday weekend with my partner, landlady was very welcoming & friendly! It was home away from home for us, lovely cosy rooms, delicious food and extremely helpful staff! We ended up having alot of problems with our truck so ended up staying an extra night and the landlady was so kind and helpful going out of her way to help us and make sure we was ok. Will be recommending to everyone we know to stay here if they are in the area, lots of things to do and so many friendly people around! Thankyou for a lovely get away xx

This was a gem to find in an unfamiliar area where I needed a home from home stay whilst completing a British Cycling course 5 miles away. I was made very welcome by David (on the phone whilst booking) and Jen at the Hotel. Very clean and warm throughout with an amazingly comfortable bed for the night. Windows are openable (important as I like a cold bedroom and warm duvet)!

The evening meal was delicious and at a reasonable price. Breakfast was inclusive and delicious with Fruit juices, cereals and variety of cooked food, toast and tea/coffee. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you very much.

Stayed at this place two weeks ago, while visiting my dying mother in the Royal United Hospital. On arrival we found the hotel had no cell phone service and the room was so hot, we couldnt sleep. The cab driver the hotel booked for us only took cash, he had no meter or taxi licence. After one night of that experience, we checked out and still had to pay for all three nights. Owner has zero customer service, and barks at the staff. Faulty Towers 2018.

If you want a getaway from your busy life in the city, turn back the time a bit, this is the place. Though you have a wifi access, the building is made with stones(I love it) beautifully decorated on the ouside with natural flowers and the green vegetation at the back is my favourite. I have to equally appreciate the friendly staff that made it worthwhile.

How on earth can I not mention the freshly made food is definite top notch. One of the amazing experience is the road to this hotel, the scenery that shows how amazing our world is.

Quaint and friendly. Best feature has to be the lounge bar with woodburner. Dinner excellent and breakfast good and filling. Good parking. Bedroom warm, clean and tidy. Electric shower. Would we go back? Yes

Warm welcome. Excellent breakfast. For a small hotel there was a good selection to choose from for dinner. A little gem tucked out in the country. Would certainly recommend and plan to return.

I realise some others had better experiences here, but can only report what we experienced. Booked this hotel as a wedding anniversary treat for my son and daughter in law visiting from America. They arrived with fish and chips they had purchased from a local store and were told they could not eat them in their room, nor outside. The owners became very aggressive and intimidating, leaving my daughter in law in tears. I understand you might want guests to eat in your restaurant but in my view, not treating your guests with courtesy is a big mistake in the hospitality industry.
