The booking was done over the phone as the website did not have an option for 3 guests in a room. The staff were accommodating and the booking was a smooth process. On arrival we were greeted nicely and the staff were overall friendly. We also had dinner at the old inn, the food was delicious and the manager checked with us if everything was okay or if we needed anything. Overall we had a great experience. The property was nice and cosy and does give the vintage feel.

After having our wedding here back 2019 which was a shambles we visited again as the hotel has been bought by the Galgorm. Wow is all I can say. We got talking to one of the managers told her that we had our wedding at the hotel and unfortunately didn't go well. She went over and above to make our stay enjoyable which meant a lot to us. Going back tonight for another stay. Love this hotel and so glad it's now being run the way it should be. An impressive start. Thank you.

I have being going here for years and have always loved the traditional decor and delicious food. I was genuinely concerned that Galgorm Group taking it over would change it completely but I was really pleased to find it almost identical! Not only have they retained the traditional feel, they've enhanced little details for the better and the food is still delicious!
I'd go as far as to say the service, which was always good, is even more friendly and helpful and the complimentary minibar in each room is just the icing on the cake! Just hope the addition of the Spa in 2022 doesn't change either the atmosphere or the prices too much.

So so disappointed in what used to be our fav local.since being bought over it has lost its charm and personal service.the outside back area has lost its beautiful open fire covered area, and there is now hardly anywhere to sit outside.and recently my daughter and I went in to have coffee and a scone, to be told they don't do scones! We were offered a dessert menu! And indifferent staff.what a shame, this used to be quirky and friendly, not so any more. very sad and disappointing.

Called in for lunch and received a warm friendly welcome and shown to a large well spaced dining room. Not many diners so not very busy. Our orders arrived quickly and the staff were very attentive. I had the chicken pie and my wife had the arancini starter as a main course and the sticky toffee sundae as dessert. Definitely be back for another visit.

My husband and I came back to Ireland for a family bereavement and the management and staff made us feel most welcome during this time. We loved the Inn so much that we extended our stay. The white glove service and kindness shown was deeply appreciated. As seasoned travelers we've stayed all over the world and can say without hesitation that the management and staff are in the top of their game and have achieved mastery and excellence. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We were here for dinner last night and were received with warmth from the staff. Had a three course meal which was beautiful, well presented and very tasty. The atmosphere was very calm and low lighting kept it pretty intimate even with all the other diners around us. We will be back and look forward to it.

The Old Inn Crawfordsburn is a lovely restaurant. The restaurant itself has a few bars with snugs and small areas around open fires. I brought my parents here a few times as they love it. They enjoy the traditional food on the menu. We went for the Christmas dinner a few years back and decided to return recently hoping for the same quality food and service.
We were not disappointed. They have an early bird special on Mon-Fri 3-6:30 with a few good choices of main with a glass of wine for 12.50. I had a good burger with chunky chips. The spicy slaw with the burger was great. Mum had the Seafood Melody and Dad had Turkey and Ham. We all enjoyed our food. They also do a tasting menu with matching wine on Thursdays for 40.
Staff are friendly and helpful. They have a lovely garden out the back with garden room and fire. Lovely place for a wedding. I managed to sneak a look towards the room they have the weddings, which looked classy. You would'nt realise there was a wedding on, as the place is so spacious yet private. Great place if you are out around the area, maybe after a walk at Crawfordsburn country park

Beautiful old restaurant with exquisite interior main dining room and private rooms. Unfortunately, the hospitality and customer service is from the Middle Ages as well. Made to wait in a half empty dining room, we were eventually seated. While we waited for a server, three of them argued over which would have to take our table just a few feet away.
One finally took out drink order and our lunch selection and promptly forgot to ever bring our drinks or check on us again.ever. A manager eventually brought our drinks right before the meal with a murmured apology. Halfway through lunch, my drink was empty, but evidently, The Old Inn has a one drink per guest maximum unless you manage to flag down a passing server.
My friend tipped, not sure why as we really had to do most of the work. So, in closing, if you like beautiful surroundings and fairly good food, this is the place for you. If you appreciate good customer service and hospitality.keep driving!
