Lovely bar always greeted with a friendly warm welcome. Nicely decorated and great seating areas. Nice drink selection. A good place to chill out with a few cocktails

I liked the quirky decor and the drinks tasted nice. But myself and my friend were about a quarter way through our second drink and mid-conservation when we were interrupted with "Would you like your bill?" from the waitress. We clearly did not - but felt hugely uncomfortable and clearly unwanted so we accepted, drunk up and promptly left. A few minutes before some obvious friends of the waitress has come in but there was no tables free which is clearly the reason they wanted to vacate a table.

We certainly have been put off and will not be returning. **RESPONSE TO REPLY. I do appreciate your response and that you take the reviews seriously. The is the first time I've ever left a poor review but felt it necessary as we were celebrating and it really ruined our night as it just felt like we were asked to leave. We were in Saturday night (26th) from around 9.30pm to 10pm. I will consider removing though.

Lovely spot to sit and chat while enjoying some great cocktails. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed.

Lovely! And the barman is very nice, chats if you want to or leaves you to it. Great cocktails too!

Lovely boutique and sophisticated bar in a listed building that has been beautifully & carefully restored and updated, retaining the value of a historic building in lovely Faringdon, Oxfordshire. I love this new bar and it offers a different experience to the other lovely bars in Faringdon, that reminds of some of the cosy Parisian or New York bars that are hidden away. I highly recommend you pop in and relax. I did and I will again soon;o

Stayed in Farringdon for a few days and called in twice lovely place with very good quality drinks and lovely staff this is what a quality drinking establishment should be like you come here for a few drinks and stay much longer testament to the owner and staff thank you

Popped into The Narrows for a quick drink and ended up staying all night. The place is gorgeous! The staff were all fantastic and so welcoming. The cocktails were delicious and the wine list is spot on. Try the Provencal rose, it's delicious! Just what Faringdon needs. Massive thanks to Dale and his team for looking after us
