Highly recommended as a wedding venue. Been to 2 here now, a friends and my own. Coordination is excellent, the venue is nice, food excellent. All comes as a package which can be tailored to your needs. My only negative is the range of beers, sure there's something for everyone but it could be better.

I attended this venue for a craft retreat last week and over my 4 day stay I found the room and amenities to be comfortable and clean and the staff to be polite and friendly. Throughout my stay I found there to be offered a varied choice of food to which was served at a very good standard. However, this wasn't the case with my final evening meal, chicken and bacon Caesar salad, which half way through I found a live grub.
The meal was returned to the kitchen by a member of my party, to whom was told that a member of staff would be coming to speak to me. I returned to my room some 10-15 minutes later when the rest of my party had finished and returned to their rooms and by which time I had still not been spoken to by a member of staff. The following morning on check out the manager informed me that he was aware of the issue and yet did not offer any form of apology.
He seemed more concerned as to the fact that I'd left the dining area whilst the chef was in the process of making the meal again! I stated that I didn't want to eat anymore as I was feeling quite ill after the experience which if the chef had come to speak to me following the incident, which is what I would of expected to be normal protocol, I would've informed them as such.
Despite this being very disappointing, I will not let it ruin my memories of an otherwise wonderful craft retreat and stay but do hope that this feedback is used a lesson for learning to prevent such an incident happening again.

Lovely evening at a wedding on Friday. Efficient bar, drinks delivered to a table for collection. Really nice pork buffet. The location gave guests the opportunity to be inside or out in the marquee. Children had open space to enjoy. Staff were effective and unobtrusive. All in all a very enjoyable evening in a nice venue.

We had our wedding here on 25th June 2021 and had the most amazing day. The staff there are excellent and couldn't do enough for us. The venue itself is beautiful. The food was delicious and plentiful. All guests couldn't praise the venue & staff enough. Even in the madness of covid time's they went above and beyond. Highly recommend.

We are having my Son and Neice's Christening at Oak Farm, it was originally booked for the 18th July 21 however due to Covid the event could not happen with the number of guest, the team kept us updated with legislation changes and offered us anything possible for an outcome that we were happy with knowing that through no fault of these this was affecting our day. From the time we visited the venue, to booking the service and communication has been excellent.

Handily located just minutes off M6 Junction 12 on the A5 to break up a long journey with an overnight stop. At first it looks as if it's in the middle of nowhere, but there are another good couple of pubs/inns within walking distance just down the road. Room was basic but clean and comfortable - a typical 'conference' or 'workmans' hotel if you know what I mean but looks as if it does a good business in weddings.
Large car park and looks relatively modern though still evident that it was once a Farmhouse, hence the name. Breakfast was included in the room that cost no more than one of the larger chain hotels, but as they don't serve until 7.15am and I had an early start, I missed out. Might stay again if I was making the same trip, though I'd possibly explore other options first and fall back on this as a plan B.

This is a beautiful hotel set in lovely grounds. its ideally located just off junction 12 of the M6 and on the A5. I have been to many functions here and the staff are friendy proffesional and always on hand to help. the food is amazing and always plenty of choice. the surroundings are lovely and they have a lovely garden area ideal for wedding photos. they have ample car parking and security gates at the front of the premisies so there secure at all times. bedrooms are adequate and comfortable, breakfasts lovely and the resturant area is modern and tasteful.
