We attended a wedding on Good Friday and it was beautiful. The venue is beautiful, the staff are helpful and polite and the food was amazing. As a vegan it can be hit and miss at events like this but I could not fault it. The toilets were so clean and this is an area where venues often fall down. The gardens are also stunning. It's a beautiful location for a wedding and it has a nice balance of being close enough to civilisation that you can get to shops if needed but far enough away that you feel like you're in the countryside in the middle of nowhere. If we were looking to renew our vows, I'd definitely consider this hotel. At the very least, I will be back to try out the spa.

It was my husband and i first time at Fairlawns hotel for a overnight stay and spa. We had a lovely time, the staff was lovely and friendly. The food was very tasty and presented nicely. The only down fall was the carpet in our room was heavily stained in parts, but apart from that, we had a lovely stay and plan to return

The standard just goes up and up. There are some multi national hotel chains could take a leaf out of Fairlawns book. It just oozes quality the moment you arrive. Efficient check in. New refurbished room with quality product's in the onsuite. Check in just after 2pm plenty of time to use the Spa facilities. An evening meal to equal any top restaurant and a good selection with vegan if required. Good full English breakfast or continental and check out at a relaxing 11am. This is one place l would love to keep to myself.

After getting a positive feedback from my other half and daughter, the experience was good, the facilities were excellent, and good food! The hotel was beautiful and both have enjoyed their treatments, its a must if you haven't been to this hotel and spa before! The only problem was there was no directions in and around the hotel, which can be quite confusing! If they had signs it would be easier for people to navigate! But they would come again! Highly recommended if you wanna treat yourself to a nice relaxing Spa!

Stayed here overnight on Saturday. We ate in the restaurant that night which was excellent and then had an equally enjoyable breakfast the next morning. Our room was very comfortable and was also very quiet. The staff in this hotel deserve a mention too because they are so pleasant and eager to please which they managed to do very well.

We went there for a birthday party. Really nice decor in the conference room we were in, staff were friendly and approachable. The bathroom that happened to be adjacent to conference suite was cold, however the one next to the reception was lovely and warm. I would definitely revisit as guest stay as I liked the seclusion and that isn't too far from my side of the city.

We stayed here as part of our wedding elsewhere and our party had a few rooms between us. We stayed in an Executive Suite and wow - the room was beautiful and very well styled, perfect for getting ready the morning of. Staff were very attentive at the bar, even creating a larger table for us for breakfast. Everyone has a brilliant time and I cannot thank the staff enough for making our weekend so special.

Had a great time. Was a Christmas present.we did a spa day it was amazing, and the food at lunchtime was fab and so was the afternoon cakes. Then we was booked for overnight stay. All the staff was very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The meal on the evening was delicious and so was the Breakfast. The room was amazing everything you need and so modern.would recommend 100 %.Will be back. Thank you.

Finally enjoyed a festive afternoon tea after having our booking cancelled 3 times over the last 18 months due to the pandemic. Well worth the wait. Excellent service from receptionist, our waitress and host. Tastely decorated for Christmas. Food was fresh and of a very high standard. Particularly enjoyed the warm Christmas sausage rolls and the white chocolate lollipops.what a shame you couldn't buy extra to go! Good selection of drinks and cocktails. Worth every penny. Highly recommended.

14 weeks ago today Fairlawns married us and it was the most perfect day. Everything looked beautiful all thanks to the team, the day was magical, the food was excellent, the atmosphere was so welcoming and the staff were incredible. Our wedding coordinator Josh was fantastic in every way. Nothing was too much trouble and he made sure we had our special day the way we wanted it.

As always, we always have a great stay. The hotel is modern and picturesque. The staff are admirable in their customer service. One waitress made a massive impression on us. She looked very young, I think her name was Gemma, she was bubbly, very quick witted and extremely knowledgeable about all menu's. Her manner was friendly but professional at all times. We loved it and will be back.

For literally a few pounds per night more than the nearby Premier Inn I decided to stay at the Fairlawns Hotel and Spa and I was in for a real treat. Even the budget rooms have a decent sized bed, TV and all the usual conveniences all done out in stylish modern decor. But that is only the beginning, there is an 18m pool and full Spa and water therapy centre, so after work I had a swim, a sauna and steam, a foot spa and all manner of different showers and all INCLUDED in the room rate.
And it just got better. The restaurant had a set price l carte menu that was exquisite "fine dining" standard food. So I went mental and ordered oysters, a seafood platter and a delightful chocolate desert. For the price this is a luxurious stay and really decent prices. I want to come back.
