Excellent but the waiting time for drink is unacceptale! 45 minutes to wait for a drink or ice cream! However, friendly staff and good service! When they have more staff.perfect!

Good coffee and cakes but terrible service. We waited 30 mins for our order to be taken while it wasn't that busy. And another 20 till we got out coffee. And the personel is rude and unprofessional

Just back from a weekend staying in the hotel - dinner, bed and breakfast. What a lovely weekend. The room was a good size, bathroom was massive with a bath and a separate shower. Couldn't fault the staff, they were really friendly, professional and provided fantastic service. The food was amazing! So fresh and tasty. We spent half a day at the spa and had a couple of treatments followed by lunch there.

All superb. Walking distance to the Birks of Aberfeldy (5 mins) which is a lovely waterfall walk, and 10 min walk to town. We loved our stay and will come back again! Tip - look out for deals on facebook and voucher sites as we got 40% off our stay and a voucher for our spa day, treatments and lunch.

We stayed in the hotel in the cedar suite for dinner bed and breakfast on a groupon deal. First of all we paid the uplift to the suite and it was worth every penny. The room. A massive king size wooden bed firm mattress and lovely windows looking out over the grounds. The bathroom had a classic and massive Victorian roll top bath easily big enough for 2.

The downsides. The tv/entertainment system was worse than useless not even full council telly tiny TV and picture quality sucked. The WiFi was non existent in the room although available elsewhere. The room could do with a lick of paint and maybe a redesign the lack of plugs around the mirror caused a few issues. The restaurant this is where I wish I could leave 2 reviews.

They both made and destroyed the visit. Dinner was lovely although the hidden 27 limit that you pay for anything over and above not quite the 3 courses advertised. The food was amazingly good bit portion sizes could easily be doubled. Breakfast this dragged down the whole stay. The definition of a full Scottish breakfast should he shown to the kitchen the food was not pleasant and badly cooked.

No square sausage and some weird excuse for a tattie scone. The inclusive spa use was nice with a lovely pool, hot tub, steam rooms and sauna. Good opening hours and very well maintained. Just to be clear that the room was amazing and worth every penny but the little bits that would make the stay perfect let it down. The restaurant need to reassess their breakfast asap and increase dinner portions.

Great Self Catering Cottage Holiday I've visited here twice now. On this occasion we booked 2 cottages for 8 adults and 3 kids. The cottages are spacious with plenty of cooking facilities (beware of the hyper sensitive smoke alarms) and supplied with towels, linen, coffee, tea, milk sachets, soap and cleaning products. The only other expense over and above the chalet were electricity at 5 per chalet for 2 nights and because we had kids we splashed out for 2 cots and a high chair (5 each).

This complex is ideal for all family members. There's the duck pond, swimming pool, steam room, inside and outside soft play area's, bar, restaurant, snooker room and club all within a 5 minute walk to the main building. And obviously there's the surrounding Highland scenery and aberfeldy only 10 minutes walk away! We ate out in Aberfeldy on one evening, but cooked on day 2.

We didn't use the resort restaurant, but the bar meals are tasty and well priced and you'll pay 3.50 to 4 a pint of beer. We'll definitely be back! HINT. THERE ARE PLENTY OF GROUPON TYPE VOUCHERS TO BE HAD FOR BOTH THE CHALET S AND HOTEL :-)

I stayed in the one of the Moness cottages for two nights with a bunch of girls in November and it was great! I had managed to snap up a voucher deal for a cottage, 129 for a Friday/Saturday stay. The cottage slept 6 people, two twin rooms upstairs, one ensuite and a double sofa bed downstairs. Accommodation is meant to be 4 stars, but I've stayed in better 4 star places, however it was clean, basic.

The are 3 toilets in total and an open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area, with everything you could really need. Heating was charged extra, however it was very inexpensive, only 7 for the weekend. The location is perfect, right next to Aberfeldy and the waterfalls. There are so many beautiful places to walk and a cute selection of art galleries and couple of old man pubs in the village. Only a 10 minute walk away.
