The Meadowsweet Hotel in Snowdonia is nestled in the small market town of Llanrwst in the heart of the Conwy valley near Betws y Coed North Wales. We are a comfortable, family run establishment with gentle dreams. Sleep in one of our spacious en-suite bedrooms and wake up with a hearty Welsh breakfast served in our up and coming restaurant Lle Hari .
After breakfast the day is yours. With a central location for Snowdonia National Park, the Gwydyr Forest and the Aberconwy coast sightseeing is a must. If on the other hand a pint and a paper feel right, then stroll along Station Road to one of the Old World pubs on Ancaster Square.

Amazing location in the North of Wales, really beautiful, big and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay is Nelson. He runs this place and he is incredibly helpful and generous with his time and advice. He even picked our call well past midnight to get the fireplace ready for us.

I am afraid we were quite disappointed with our room which really needed a deep clean. Skirting boards and cables were dusty, carpet and bathroom floor required a good hoover. The bathroom was in need of updating and the hair in the shower drain was unpleasant. The bedding was very clean as were the towels and the bed was comfy. Plenty of tea and coffee available and there is a small honesty fridge in one of the reception rooms from which you can buy soft drinks, wine, beer and snacks. The location was brilliant and there is plenty of parking.

The wet beds made my stay exceptional! Nelson aka the maid, the receptionist, the cleaner, the chef, the servant was so wonderful. The accompanying bible was also great to keep away any of the demons or visitors entering our room. Room was a bit cold but nothing Nelson can't fix! Just crank up that radiator and wait 3-5 working days for the room to reach 25 Celsius.

We had such an amazing stay at this hotel. Fantastic location and close to two of the most beautiful waterfalls I've ever seen! What a gem of a find in North Wales. Nelson, the owner of the hotel, was so friendly and extremely helpful with showing us beautiful places to visit nearby. Would recommend without hesitation!

Meadowsweet Hotel was such a treat. It was the perfect location for us in North Wales, and Nelson the owner recommended a beautiful walk that featured two beautiful waterfalls and lots of countryside views. Less than a 5 minute drive away is Zip World, which also has a Fforest coaster (highly recommended this)! The hotel was very cosy and full of character.
You can self check in and out which means if you're looking for a quiet stay, this is the perfect option. Nelson was always on hand if we ever needed anything and was so kind and helpful. We stayed in a beautiful four poster bed and felt very well looked after! There are also lots of shops and restaurants nearby, and just a short walk is the famous tea room covered in ivy. We will be back!

We just stayed few hours overnite, so coudnt enjoy our stay properly. Didnt have problem to check-in after 8pm. Loved their little Honesty bar, where you can grab a drink for fair prices. As the hotel doesnt provide food, maybe a tiny fridge in the room would be a good idea as we couldnt keep our leftovers in this temperature. Overall very nice little hotel.

We arrived around 11pm to check in however the front door is locked at 10pm. Luckily we used the contact number provided and the owner was quick to let us in and allow us to check in. Staff were very pleasant. The room we stayed in was well decorated. The location is in a small town, and walking distance to a Co-op and some restaurants. Free car park is available. Good location for seeing around Snowdonia National Park.
