Well at first we arrived at the reception and then we waited 20 minutes to be seen. Then we get seen by the receptionist and then he turns round and says to us have you tried the Round house hotel but we already booked and paid for this one! we think the reason that was he asked us that because of the way we looked and are age bearing in mind we are in our 20s and work legit jobs (NHS worker) then we get told where our bedroom was as and told where the lift was to access the stairs but to be honest if you had children you would not be able to put a pram in the left as it was so small or a disabled wheelchair.
Eventually we arrived to our bedroom after walking up four flights of stairs after being told it was two The bedroom was disgusting there was so much dust and suffering with asthma that was an issue for me my partner also had to go downstairs and ask for cutlery et cups it was also so hot on the fourth floor and on the description when we booked they said there was electronic fans in the bedrooms when there wasn't so my partner had to go downstairs and ask again for things that should already be in the bedroom even then the it wasn't a fan it was a heater and that blown up.
For the price that we paid considering it's near the beach as well it was very disgusting and I would not recommend this to anyone should've paid the extra 12 and gone to Hilton hotel!.

I'm writing this piece before I leave. I was quite prepared to realise that this hotel has not had much income over the year. However, the interior is far older than one year without much custom and obviously needed refreshing 5 to 8 years ago. Having sat on a chair with a piece of fabric covering the wood and watching a television screen the size of my laptop, the final nail in the coffin was the fact that the blinds don't work, so I will be waking up to sunrise at 4:45 this morning.
It's okay I found a solution. See photo. Another note, I wouldn't put my ex mother-in-law up on this mattress. Disappointed for 68 would rather have spent 100 across the road.

Arrive to do check-in earlier and I have been told that the room won't be ready earlier then 2:30pm but was ready 2:48pm so later then that can be because 'it's been busy' having a 7months old baby who need to sleep and paid extra for parking. The kitchen woman was awesome, polite and very professional. Paying for park extra it's a bit unprofessional because who's traveling it won't come by foot so park should be included in price and it's a bit expensive and dirty, very dirty as next morning was full of tree dirt.
Should be cleaned the ground I make a lot of mess in the car paid 8.50. Room was ok we really do like it, clean, worm and I did enjoy breakfast and drinking a beer on the lounge. Overall I would recomment but have to behave some of the employers and take out the park charges as it's not the car park that we have to pay

OK for a wknd break although our room was very tired and bland and the bed was much smaller than we're used to (standard double and cheap or worn mattress) plus the walls are paper thin so you can hear the room nxt to you, could really do with decorating and new furnishings. Very friendly/helpful staff and breakfast was of a fair standard.

Overall it wasn't the worst place we've stayed in. We had asked for a travel cot to be put in the room and had to ask again when we arrived as there wasn't one in the room. The bathroom wasn't cleaned properly and someone's "business" was left in the toilet! After telling the guy on reception, he assured me that someone would go clean it for us. The lady and gentleman serving breakfast were amazing! So friendly and our 10 month old daughter loved them. Nothing was too much trouble. We would probably stay here again

Dirty, over priced and terrible parking policy Our room has a sweet on the floor which was there when we arrived so obviously had not been hovered before us, great during covid. Also we paid 24 for 48h parking but where told we had to leave after check out despite paying untill 6pm we offered to pay extra but where refused. It then took us 45 mins or longer to find a parking spot really ruined our day and then the parking we found was 5 a day so would have been cheeper than our hotel anyway

We stayed here on a last minute 2 night special offer after our honeymoon was postponed due to Covid. I was a little worried after staying 1 night in a larger 4star hotel the week before which was a disaster - and I was very pleasantly surprised! It's not fancy or pretentious, it's a comfortable hotel with very friendly staff who are always smiling and helpful, great food and they have coped very well with implementing covid guidelines.
The location is great, just a 10 min walk to the pier, on site parking which is free if you book your stay direct with the hotel. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit the area.

Great location for the beach, very quiet. Bus stop literally outside the hotel. Room was very clean, crisp clean sheets & a very comfortable bed. Only given 3 stars as the hotel in general is very dated & needs some love. We didn't use the lift as so tiny we couldn't fit all of our luggage in with us so had to walk up a flight of stairs, not great if you are disabled. Overall a pleasant experience & would stay again.

I certainly enjoyed myself at this place. I went to a private event our friends 80th birthday party in a private room catered by the hotel staff the food was simple and delicious and everyone was courteous and kind. Parking is complimentary which is a big Plus in this area. They have a separate bar area and drinks are moderately priced. They have several places to relax beautiful windows in the back there is a huge garden with tables outside. if you're looking for an address for a small private party baby shower or anything which needs a nice touch I highly recommend this place
