DO NOT STAY HERE! TV cable comes out of the wall, and was told to wiggle it around if the signal goes. Very very unsafe. Rooms are tiny, with no space to move. Headboard made out of woven wood material, your hair gets caught in it. The complimentary milk saches was 7 MONTHS OFF. Has a very weird smell, and very noisy. Half used 'body and hair wash' in bathroom, unreplaced. WiFi stopped working. Kettle is rusting on the inside. TV mount was falling off the wall. NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES, DO NOT TRUST IT.

First the good: nice staff and good location, but. Staying here reminded me of my student house at university and not in a good way. An early December stay with very cold temperatures I arrived in the afternoon to find the heating in my room had been off so the room was chilly to say the least. The radiator cranked up to maximum the room was still cold by the evening and all night. An annoyance (and reminder of student digs), though I had the radiator on max it would often stop as clearly the heating for the house was on a timer!
Hot water issues continued to the not very good shower which surprised me by going completely cold at times (despite my following the instructions they'd stuck to the wall). Finally, breakfast was included and I suppose was fine enough but only until 0830 on weekdays (I managed the 0930 cutoff on the weekend)?! Felt guilty writing this review but had to write the truth.

Mistake on booking was made! I wanted two nights they booked 4 nights. However, I was incredibly disappointed! Firstly a relative was rushed into hospital mid way through my stay. I and the agent asked that the hotel cancel the remaining two nights stay at the hotel (which I didn't asked for anyway but they charge still). They refused, and said "it is not our problem".
They charged an extra 300 for two nights which I couldn't use. No empathy there what's so ever, both the company and hotel were not interested in the slightest. I would advice to avoid the hotel! It's also not a 4star hotel. I would put it a 2star. Rooms are standard ruggerdy with wholes in the wall and not to a very good standard. hotel rooms are very small and odd.
Food isn't up to standard either, cheap! Considering this hotel can change in excess of 150 per night, I would advice to go else where. If the hotel wishes to comment on this review, and ask that I contact them directly, I have already done this, but they were rude and did not care in the least. They argued that if you book a flight you can't cancel it, the same with a hotel. However, you can cancel flights last minute on certain Grounds! When I informed of this he put the phone down. I would avoid at all cost! Just a shame as hotels like these let the rest of them down.

The people who owned it were very nice and the breakfast was too. However, we stayed in room one and it was dated, falling apart and it was so dusty, it was disgusting, the skirting board looked like it hadnt been wiped in ages and the top of the cuboarded was dusty. Despite complaining about this, after our room was cleaned there wasnt much difference and the top of the wardrobe was still dusty.
At breakfast there was food left on the floor from the morning before. It might be cheap, but it doesnt take a few minutes to wipe something clean. I wouldnt not recommend this place to anyone.

I booked my night through hotels dot com, so I had little clue as to what I was getting into, but it turned out alright. The good: clean, quiet room with a lovely view of the ocean. Clean, modern bathroom which was seldom used! Breakfast was included and I sat where ever I pleased and my order taken. I ordered a simple eggs breakfast with toast and my ever faithful pot of tea.
It was well cooked. The owner is so friendly and pleasant. Wi-fi is available but make sure you ask for the password upon checking in because the owner leaves later in the afternoon. You may or may not catch him in the evenings! Despite the room with the view, it is quiet and I was able to sleep like a log. What can be improved: the tv is old, analogue tv that had poor reception and broke down.
Who uses them anymore? But more importantly, you won't be staying indoors to watch tv. They do receive emails you send and it would be very helpful if they actually responded! I emailed inquiring on restaurant suggestions since my b-day fell on the day I was staying with them. To my surprise, he wished me a happy b-day and asked if I had found where to go. I thanked him and lied. I had no plans, but he didn't need to know that.
