Lyzzick Hall is a beautiful country house hotel that is located on the lower slopes of Skiddaw. Being situated in the northern Lake District near Keswick, Lyzzick is an ideal base for any walking or sightseeing holiday. We have 31 fully equipped rooms, comfortable lounges, an excellent restaurant and a heated indoor swimming pool with sauna and Jacuzzi. The hotel is set in extensive private grounds which will ensure that your stay with us as peaceful and relaxing as you would like it to be.

There are 27 charming bedrooms at Lyzzick Hall, all elegantly furnished to a high standard. Whether a romantic break, family holiday or business trip, we can find a room to suit your needs. All have their own contemporary bathroom with Gilchrist and Soames toiletries and heated towel rails. At Lyzzick Hall our aim is simply to provide a relaxing haven where courtesy and care come hand in hand with efficient and personal attention. We are very proud of our hardworking and friendly team of staff, for whom nothing will be too much trouble.

We visited Lyzzick Hall for an anniversary dinner and had such a lovely evening. The staff were wonderful; friendly and attentive without being 'fussy'. We both had different 3 courses and all dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. We weren't rushed, with plenty of time to sit in the lounge with a drink beforehand and time to just sit and chat afterwards. We will certainly be back, next time in the daylight so we can appreciate the views too!

Ex pat over from california revisiting old haunts. Wanted a relaxing and romantic break and was delighted this place is every bit as good as I remember. Great friendly service. Beautiful (stunning) location. Fantastic food and wine. Lovely rooms and facilities. Can highly recommend, never disappoints.
