The Lochnell Arms Hotel is a traditional family run hotel set in a spectacular loch side location, offering a warm and friendly welcome all year round. We have a relaxing lounge bar with an open fire and a busy public bar with pool table, darts, gaming machine and T.V. We have ten letting bedrooms, six of which have stunning views over the Falls of Lora and beyond.

All rooms are tastefully furnished with en suite, freeview T.V. and tea and coffee making facilities. Two superior rooms with queen size beds and a balcony, where you can sit and take in the breath-taking views. One family room with dual aspect sea views (this room can also be a triple, please state at time of booking). One family room with sea view and the option to make into a triple (please state at the time of booking whether you require family or triple).

If I could leave 0 star I would. Nick, who worked behind the bar does not understand business nor the idea or decent customer service and for this beautiful pub to thrive you ought to get rid of her. Disgusting character.

Service was fantastic and very nice location. The meals were very nice apart from the chips. They were french fries which were very dry and crispy. However they did provide us with a fresh bowl of chips which were much nicer. Very nice staff and very accomodating.

Warm welcome from the hosts and kind staff. The dining room has great views of the Loch. Our room with balcony was exceptional for Loch and landscape viewing.

A good place to stay enroute to the Western Isles. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Good home cooked food with generous portions. Great value.

Only stayed for one night before catching ferry for mull. We had paid for breakfast but had to leave early and the staff kindly made us a packed lunch instead. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a room with a small balcony and it was warm and sunny for march. Just so relaxing

Staff couldn't do more to help. Breakfast was amazing. Very friendly, family run hotel. Would def recommend and we will defo stay here again when back up visiting the area.

We stayed here for 5 nights. All areas of the hotel are spotless. We had dinner in the restaurant every night. Steak pie was the best we've had. Large portions but there is a smaller 2 course option Bedroom was clean, bed comfy and everyone was friendly. We had drinks in the lounge and also in the bar. Couldn't fault anything, we will be going back again
